For a little over a year, I've been trying to train my voice myself. I would like to get voice lessons, but that would take the place of guitar lessons.
My question is: How can I build support with my voice? I can't sing very loud or I go out of tune.
And do you have any other tips for singing?

practice practice practice =) that's all you can really do..i guess nothing else will help er anything. drink water though, before & after you do it & umm juss try singing a lot of different songs & stuff.

Ok, i have this friend right, and so i went online and we were talking and then he just started swearing at me and swearing and i was like whats your problem and then this friend left in school the person wont talk to me so...what could be the reason on this persons behavior? and what should i do to fix this?

that's weird but i kno this guy who does that a lot..haha loser =) he obviously isn't a great friend if he didn't talk to you about it & all..that's rudeeeee. if he doesn't want to talk to you then ask a friend to help you out & ask him what's going on. i guess no one knows the reason except him, so ask them to help you out.

Well there are these girls(my friends) who have major crushes on my best buds, and all they do is just pester them and just like hang out at their lockers. and so now like i can't ever like talk to them b/c all they do is just blow me off so they can talk to the guys or the guys are just too busy to care. wht do i doo!!!

lately my best friend and i haven't been having the most fun. she's much more outgoing than me, and i often get left out in the dust. also, even though several people don't like her because of her loud, bossy style, she's convinced she's better than me. i really want to make the friendship work, because from grades 3-6 we've been the best of friends, but i've been working hard to keep it together for almost 2 years now, and she hardly ever talks to me anymore. i don't know what to do anymore. should i try to work more at the friendship, because sometimes we do have a lot of fun, or should i give up, or should i just spend less time with her but still keep her as a friend? i'm sorry this question is so long, but please answer anyways. thanks=D

obviously you've tried to be her friend for awhile yet, & you shouldn't have to try to be a good friend with someone juss because you guys were friends before. i think what you should do is still be her friend, but back off a bit & let her decide what she wants to do. if she's your true friend then she'll hang out with you & then you guys can talk about it.

HELP PLEASE..WILL RATE HIGH

here's the background information:::

last night..i went to the homecomming game with my friends. i hung out with a group of my really close guy friends for a while. i recientally broke up with my boyfriend..and my close friend (( im just going to use letters )) D asked me to take a walk with him. so i said alright, and we talked about y i broke up with my bf E. after a few min..he held my hand and he told me that he respectes my decision about what i did. also that night..i hung out with my friend C..we were fooling around..he said something random or stupid, and i'd kick him cause it was so annoying..but thats the way we are...anyways...today, my friend D imed me and told me that i shuld go out with C...i found this totally random and asked him y he thought i should. he told me that me and C look good together...which..i dont really kno for sure.....my other friend ( a guy ) told me that he thinks D likes me and tried using the whole " C && me makes a good couple" to distract me....

my question is....is it ture that he could be saying that i look good with someone else to hide his feelings for me?

D might like you er maybe he juss really likes you as a friend. i think you should ask D & talk to him about why he asked you to go out with C & all that. it sounds like alphabet soup i know haha =) juss ask him to be honest with him & let him know how you feel about it. if he truly doesn't like you, then go for it with C if you like him er what not.

Okay I really like this guy. Well I have heard he liked me too but I don't know I am a freshman and he is a Jr. (same age as my older brother and they have conflicts) Well I want to see if he likes me but I am scared too. His cousin says he always talks about me and he is really sweet to me. He will come up and hug me and tell me that I am looking good and stuff like that. I want to ask him out but I am scared to. I guess I am afraid of rejection. Then one of my friends likes him too. and if she found out how I feel about him she would hate me... but he like hates her cuz she acts like a big ole' whore and stuff like that. So I am stuck... go for it =) it's only a 2 year age diff soo it isn't a big deal & plus he likes you, not your friend & explain to her. you can't be afraid of your rejection, because you don't want to not tell him & then he start to like someone else. plus you'll juss be curious wondering what it would've been like dating each other. definately go for it & explain to him how you feel.

I am asthmatic and today at the doctors had to take a peak flow meter (lung capacity) test. It came out really low every time I tried, at around 270, whereas for my height and weight it should be 530 (and not much less being asthmatic). Does anyone know why this would be so low? I do have a viral infection a bit like a very bad cold at the moment but the doctor didn't think it would have much sway over the results, and besides, I can never run very far without my lungs hurting or getting wheezy. Is there any way I can improve my lung capacity?
I have an appointment in the asthma clinic soon but I'm just checking on here incase there is something I forget to ask there :)

i have asthma & i heard that lung capacity you can only fix by like practicing almost?? swimming, instruments etc. maybe running will help too. it's basically asthma though, unless you're a smoker er if you have 2nd hand smoke that could be a big thing in it. go back to the doctor & maybe they know what you can do. here's a website-

right this is so hard to explain here i go well theres this boy called james who when i first saw him i thought yes hes nice and well he asked me out i said no because another boy in school asked me out lets call him Alex. Well i grew to really like alex and alex asked me out and i said no because off james. James took me home the other day and well he tryed to kiss me and he basically tried to force me to kiss him and i really did not like that because i decided i did not want to kiss him but we touched lips not a proper kiss just like a touch. Now i feel kinda bad because i really like alex. Alex is the one i want to kiss but i just can't when he goes to kiss me i kinda back away i think what if i do it wrong will he still like me? ahhh and my friend asked alex for his number and he never gave it to her i was sooo happy... Alex says he loves me all the time and james shows no interest.. What shall i do. But the thing is i like another guy in school who ive never talk to and i kinda told his friend i like his friend and im not sure whats going to happen now. Thank you in advance.x

whoooooaaa okay you have to straighten out your feelings before you do anything with anyone. it's not fair to james who is your bf but then again you do want to be happy. you don't seem that interested in james er anything so maybe you should dump him & try things with alex. it's all up to you, you juss gotta get your feelings straightened out first & then work from there & talk to them & let them know how you feel.

I like this guy, he is 3 years older than me. but i dont want to liek him. we are really good friends and we hooked up and we started tlaking, he told me stuff about him and i told him thing we were really close we would kiss when we saw eachother wich was alot, but one night he got really drunk and hooked up with this girl. i found out and got really really really upset because i really liked him. even that night he called me up asking me where i live when he knows where i live cuz hes been to my house a million times. the next day he aske dif i was mad at him and i said why did you have to lead me on and then treat me like that and he said i told you it wouldnt work out for us because of our age. so i got upset, then homecoming happend and shit happend so he imed me and he asked me if i was feeling alright and we were actullay talking and he came over that monday after and we hungout but after taht things changed. we would still talk but not romanticly and it was because he met this girl and it turned out they like eachother now, and im upset, i say im over him and stuff but im not. and i even talk to him about how i want someone serious and he says he wants to settle down and not hookup with so many girls and i thinkhe wants somethign with this girl. ANYWAYS, i dont want to have feelings for him, and i want to be his friend.

you juss need to look around. talk to other guys, make new guy friends etc. you can't juss randomly not have any feelings for him, yet a lot of people wish it did work that way. if he does hook up with that many girls, he's totally not worth it anyway & that wouldn't make a great boyfriend er 1 that you should deserve. maybe you should try to stay away from him & juss talk to him every so often. look around a bit & stay strong!!!

queer is someone who's gay, bisexual, etc. maybe a drag queen, something of that sort. it's basically an insult to them, & usually it's a guy that would be called a queer.

Okay, I'm 20, I've never had a boyfriend, and I've had this nagging (We'll call it "Women's intuition) feeling that a friend of mine really likes me. I'm pretty sure he likes me because of the way he treats me. I could go on and on about the signs, but there's way too many of them...see, I don't feel the same way about him...I'm terrified that any day he's gonna' say, "by the way, I really like you and wanna' be your boyfriend" in the middle of a conversation...I've politely declined several boys before, but this one is especially hard, because I consider this boy to be one of my best friends...like a brother. And breaking his heart is the last thing I wanna do. Even though it's unavoidable if in fact he does like me, I would like to know the least painful way to respectfully say "no thanks"...

hmm what you can do is let him know that since he's your good friend, you don't want a bf/gf relationship to ruin that friendship. let him know that he means a lot to you & if anything would happen with your friendship, you'd really want that back. explain how you feel & i don't think he'd be upset about it. he'll probably understand where you're coming from & will appreciate that you're being honest.

I am 20, and I am dealing with relationship problems with 2 guys. One guy I can't seem to start a romantic relationship with, (I'll call him "Bob") and the other I suspect likes me and is very jealous of the other guy (I'll call this guy "Jim") I flirt around and am often affectionate towards Bob, and Jim seems to get angry and even a little hostile towards Bob. Jim also seems to try to get my attention when I am interacting with Bob. I've stopped flirting with Bob, but I still sense hostility from Jim. Is he jealous? And what should I do?

he's definately jealous. take both =) haha no im jkkk definately don't do that!! you have to sort out your feelings & decide who you care for more. basically what it comes down to is who you wouldn't want dating someone else & who you truly care for. after you sort that out, then talk to both of them & let them know how you feel & what's going on & stuff. they'll understand.

i started school just about 2 months and i had a new teacher and i was not bothered about him at first actally i kind of hated him like other students. Students used to talk to him funny and i started to laugh abit he got mad at everyone when they started to laugh so he shouted at them but no at me.
After i stared having feels for him
Then after about a month:My mate was bothering him like making noise and she ran off when i was sitting down outside the classroom so he thought it was me so he told me to go in side the classroom for detention i told him that i did not do it, but did not belive even when my firends said she was making the noise
The next day i had a lesson with him and he talk to my mate who did it and said that I Did'nt expect you to go bargin in(thats when she said she did it)
Anyway i really like him even though he's a teacher and on monday am going to say sorry but i want him to know i like him how......

maybe you shouldn't tell him that you like him. i mean he is your teacher & nothing could happen anyway, & you don't want to risk him getting fired. that wouldn't be good. i think you should try maybe looking for someone else, only because he's your teacher & all, and he can get into trouble if that situation is brought up.
