Does anyone know any not common bands that are emo. I don't mean the kind that scream, but the depressing songs w/ good lyrics. Please, not common ones like fallout boy or hawthorne heights!, some bands no one knows pretty much!!thanks!!I'll give 5's for anyone who tries!

if i were to but baby oil on me when i am tanning, would that get me darker a little faster than not putting baby oil on?

DO NOT USE BABY OIL.

Your skin will burn MAJORLY.

Use Hawaiian Tropic tanning lotion, you can get it at Walmart. Make sure that whatever tanning lotion that you get has a high SPF number. The only thing that I can reccomend to use is tanning lotion, because its formulated for your skin. But, other 'home remedies' might not work because they're not designed for your skin.

Hey! I'm about to go to sleepaway camp, and it's going to be one of my best friend's birthdays while we're there. (I'm a 14-year-old girl, he's turning 15.) What can I do to make it special? I can't get any food in, but I really want to do something cool for him. Thanks so much!

You can make a '50 reasons why I love you' card. You can decorate it with glitter and a lot of that other fun stuff and write/type fifty reasons of why you love your boyfriend. There are some reasons that you can find on Google, or you can make them up yourself. Be sure to put a picture of you two at the bottom of your card. I think that he'll really like it.

Well, you can start focusing your mind on how to get guys to like YOU. Your friend probably doesn't care if you're jealous or not, she'll just keep dating the guys. If you keep being jealous, then you're just telling yourself 'oh my friend can get any guy, i can't. shes better than me.' So, try to find someone for yourself && just flirt around && tell me how it works out.

okay i've been going bikini shopping & i have to try it on every time, soo i leave my underwear on, no problem. is this not safe to do?? i mean you have to try a bikini on before you buy it, but what if someone before you tried it on?? can you get sick from that?? germs?? idk what else.

In most stores, they usually have a sign on the inside of the changing stall that says 'do not remove undergarments while trying on swimsuits' or something like that. Yes, you should keep your underwear on. It isn't safe if you take it OFF and try it on. So, just keep your underwear on, and you'll be fine.

13/f, my grandmother used to be okay, never used to get into my way, always feeding us, and helping us. I went to this award banquet, and she didn't like what I was wearing. When she described what I should wear, it was a wedding dress. I explained that for this occasion, you just wear simple things, but she didn't listen. I went the way I looked anyhow. Everyone who passed us, she would say, you see how that person has that... and other what nonsense. She said how my breasts were sticking out. Bra or no bra, of course it would show, I have breasts, wouldn't the shape and size of it show? Now for graduation, she's forcing to dress up in some wedding gown thing. My mom had to tell her no. My grandmother thinks that I'm dressing the wrong way. What's her problem?

Explain to your grandma that what she wore is different from what girls wear now. Tell her that you are growing up and a lot of other girls breasts sometimes stick out. Tell her that you appreciate that she cares, but this is how you WANT to dress.

I want to go to a summer camp the summer of '07 more than anything! The only problem is that my parents won't let me go. How can I convince my parent so to let me go to summer camp? I've even offered to pay for it myself!

Well, first, you need to ask them why they won't let you go, but don't whine and start acting like a baby. Tell them that you want to meet a lot of new people and have fun and not just sit around the whole summer. But, if they say no, don't keep bugging them. Parents sometimes change their minds if they see that kids really want to go, so don't keep nagging them, the answer will still be no if you keep doing that.

Okay so I am really athletic and I play soccer on a higher type of team and I always have practice and we have to do things like run 5 laps, and sprints.. things like that. So anyways, my hips are so large! my hipbones like stick out so much. I would think that exercise like that would make them thinner but no they are just the same. Please help on how to make them smaller, I RATE 5'S TO ALL!!

Well, if its the hipbones, then you can't really change them. You can try wearing black to kind of 'slim' them, but you can't change your bones. It sounds like you work out a lot when you play soccer, so if you have fat, I don't need to say 'go work out', haha. xDD Just eat healthy so that you don't gain any weight on your hips and other places if you have some fat around your hips.

My hair is not easily curled. It takes me about 2 hours to actually get it curled with a curling iron and half the time it doesn't even look the way i want it to. I have tried curling gels and scrunching, but none of it has worked. I want my hair to stay curly for about a day or so...And quick to style. Does anyone know how?

Take a shower at night, and then braid your hair into tiny braids, and leave them like that when you go to bed. In the morning, take them out. If it's not as curly, flip your hair upside down and scrunch it while its still wavy so it can add at least some curls. Make sure not to brush it out immediately or the curls will be gone. Then use a maximium hold hair spray.

Hey all! Well, I need new eyeglasses, and I really like the ones from Chanel, so if anybody knows where to get them and Chanel sunglasses too, and how much would they cost I would really appreciate them. my hair is fryed. it has a lot of breakage and some split ends. how can i get it healthy?

Well, first, you need to go to a salon and get your split ends cut off. Don't blowdry your hair, let it sit. And when you get out of the shower, don't immediately brush your hair. Let it sit for at least 5 minutes, and then brush it.

Here are some tips that you can follow every day so you can maintain healthy hair -

Don't brush your hair a lot.
Don't bleach or perm your hair.
Don't wash your hair every day, it will make it dry, however, don't wash your hair less than twice a week because it will become greasy.

If you follow these steps, you'll start seeing changes within your hair and your hair should be healthier in no time.

This guy asked me out through my friend. He's really nice and funny, but he is sooo ugly! I mean that's the only reason I said no! The other problem is my friend wanted him to ask her out, but she claimed she didn't like him (wierd huh)...

For the second time, i develoed a crush on my best friend, who is almost4 years older than me, should I tell her? I am hesitating because its a bit redundant and hopeless, and the last time i was in love with her, and was rejected, i was sent in a depression to the point i wasn't like myself, and our friendship was a bit f a mess {from my point of veiw} Is it still a good thing to confess?

If she rejected you the first time, I doubt that she'd give you another chance. She's 4 years older than you, and you met her online. Online relationships don't work, and thats my opinion. I think you should just drop the crush and move on. I don't think that you really like her that much, but you just want someone to love. I don't think that its a good thing to confess because if you tell her that you had liked her a SECOND time, your entire friendship can be over since it got in a mess the first time.

i got a t-shirt from my middle school for the end of the year and i want to know how to make it more fun. all my friends like cut it up and do all these cool things to their t-shirts. does anyone know any thing i could do to mine thats easy?

Here are some ideas --

Cut off the sleeves, but not the ENTIRE sleeve, leave some fabric there. And tie a ribbon under them.

Take glitter glue and write '2006' in huge letters.

Have people sign in different colored sharpies.

You can get some adhesive rhinestones, or just regular rhinestones at a crafts store and glue them on with super glue or a hot glue gun.

someone i noe and care about deeply is doing pot. i want to stop him. i noe he's not like that but that it's probably pure pressure or something. it's really hurting me that all of these people are commenting on his myspace about how he's such a good drinking buddy and he prolly has to drive home after. and i saw pictures of him doing pot. i love him more than you could ever imagine! can someone please tell me a way that i could get to his head and have him stop all of this? please help me. i don't want someone i love in danger!

I'm sorry, but I don't really know what you can do. You just have to keep reminding him that he can't poison himself like that. You can't really force the guy to 'stop'. It's his decision to do pot, he's the one that got himself into this mess. Just keep reminding him how life would be without pot and how he can save himself before its too late.

my dad makes up lame excuses for why i can not go out with my friends after work affterrr i come home and my friends come in the house to meet him and find out whos driving and everything. I'm going to be 17 in like..20 days i dont see why i can not go out til midnight on a summer night! He says its cause "i dont know your friends". okayy well he's going to have to meet them sometime, right? why not now. the sooner the better. The way i see it, there driving me insane not letting me go out with my friends ever and its just going to hurt them in the long run when i get my car and my own place and never come home........i jsut dont kno what to do to let them realize i'm growing up and i dont want to stay home with them all the time....

I think that they're not ready to let go of you yet, but every parent has to at some time. The best thing to do would be to talk to your parents, reason with them, and ask them WHY you can't go out. If they give you some excuse, tell them that you want to be independent and make your own choices. But, don't bug them constantly. Example "Can I go now?" "Have you decided yet?" "Are you sure? POSITIVE?!" Ya know? Don't drive them crazy. But, never, I repeat NEVER go behind their backs.
