Eye Twitching

Question Posted Sunday June 18 2006, 1:16 pm

Hi! Well, lately my eye (bottom right of right eye) has been twitching, so I was wondering if anyone might know what's causing it and how I can stop it. Thanks.

hey

It sounds like you just have a regular 'tic' its normal and it happens to most people at one point in their lives so no worrys! They are caused by lack of sleep, stress or a poor diet. So just make sure you get enough sleep at night and it should dissapear within no more than 2 weeks.

xx good luck xx

That happens to me sometimes. It is often from a lack of sleep or potassium in ones diet. So try to get a full 8 hours of sleep everynight or try eating a banana or a glass of orange juice with breakfast.

have you used eye drops? it may be because it is dry. if so i reccomend bausch and lomb eye drops. they dont sting at all.
or it could be because lack of sleep. are you getting enough sleep?

This is called a tic. Maybe you haven't had enough sleep or you have been staring at a computer screen too long. Maybe you have had too much stress lately.

I have the same problem sometimes. Make sure that you get enough sleep because you get it from a lack of sleep.

Hope I helped!

xostarbrightbaby answered Sunday June 18 2006, 1:41 pm:
Ocular myokymia is the involuntary twitching of the eyelid and it is often caused by stress, lack of sleep or too much caffeine. This occasional twitching typically disappears and does not become a problem unless it persists or extends to other parts of the face.
Hope this helps.
