Double Piercing
Hey, I really want to get my ears double pierced but I'm really scared it'll hurt and I'll cry lol. I was about 7ish when I got them pierced for the first time and I cired. And my friend says it doesn't hurt, pintching your ear hurts more then piercing it. So basically does it hurt??

I got a double piercing in September, and it did hurt for a while, but after about a day it felt completely fine. Of course, it really does depend on the person and how they handle pain, but for me I was okay.
My advice is about an hour before you get it done is take a Tylenol or an Advil. It really helped me handle it better. It still hurts but it takes the pain down a notch. I would also recommend closing your eyes and thinking hard about something else to distract yourself. (I personally prefer doing multiplication tables in my head).
After you get it done, instead of thinking about it hurting, try to focus on how awesome it looks! Good luck, and I hope this helps :)

I have my ears double-pierced, and my right cartiledge. I cried when I got my ears pierced too, when I was 9. But when I got my double-piercings it didn't hurt at all. It makes a wierd pa-ting noise when the post goes in, and your ear may feel warm, but it doesn't hurt. Good Luck!

okay.. first off, know that you are getting advice right now from the biggest wimp in all of north america.. no, it doens't hurt that bad.. i got mine a few years ago.. around when i was 12 or 13.. and it will pinch a little, and sting a little bit afterwards, but that's it! you have to look at it this way.. it's only going to hurt for a few minutes, and you'll have them pierced for the rest of your life with no pain! i say just go do it.. for me, right when she started to come at me with the piercing thingey, my eyes started to well up with tears.. and i closed my eyes real hard when she did it because i thought it would hurt, but truth is, it didn't really hurt that badly.. and the end result is soooo worth the miniscule amount of pain, that i say just go for it and just keep thinking of the end result and how worth it it will be =) good luck!

This one is kinda easy for me. I just got my ears pierced a while ago. It hurts for about a minute or two. Then it might sting for a while. All it feels like is a light pinch in the ear. The ear is the easiest and least painful piercing of all. But make sure you're not allergic to the type of earing you get. I kinda know first hand.

i haev my ears triple pierced... && i have my cartlidge pierced... && i got the first one done when i was 4 2nd ione when i was 8 third one when i was 12 && cartlidge done at 12..and they dont hurt.. they only one i cried for was my 1st one..

It all depends on your personal threshold of pain. Getting your ear double pierced doesn't hurt much more than getting your ear pierced for the first time. If you go someplace that uses a piercing gun, the pain is relativly minor. If the place you go to uses a needle, it might hurt a little more, but still not that much. I pierced my own ears and it wasn't that bad. It only hurts for a few seconds.

it depends.. how well you take pain.. like if you scratch your knee and you're bawling your eyes out.
the piercings on the bottom are just a pinch. and they sting for a second but it goes away.
for the cartilage [for me, it was just a burning sensation for 3 seconds and it was gone]
I mean if you do it yourself, it hurts a lot more. If you get it done, it's like -pinch- *done*

no it does not hurt i repierce my ears all the time a pinch to the ear may hurt more if you have sensitive ears but it should not hurt GOODLUCK !!!

Since you had them pierced once before, this time it's not going to hurt you as much. It'll feel like a sting and maybe hurt for a couple of seconds but after that you won't feel it. Just relax and the faster you get them pierced you won't have to worry about it anymore. =]

well i guess it depends on how well you take to pain,
personally i doubt you will cry,
i mean it hurts, but NOT that bad, just pinch your ear hard, for a split second, and thats kind of what it feels like

I also got my ears pierced when i was younger, and now want a second peircing.
The thing is you got your ears peirced when you were seven. So of course your gonna cry! - your seven!
But now that you're older you've probobly experienced alot more pain than that.
It's really no humungo deal. Yeah, its a "pinch" that will hurt. But it will hurt for about 5 seconds MAX. Unless of course you go to a cheap, un-sanitary peircing shop. But hopefully you won't do that.
So I say get it done because the outcome will be HOT.

I was 4 when i got my 1st holes and 13 when i got my 2nd. It doesnt really hurt, it hurts for like a second and then its fine. But remember to keep it clean :)
