I've been singing for about 7 years now, and I think it's time I started taking voice lessons. My mom insists that I have no natural talent. She's only heard me once, and at the time, I was so nervous that I didn't sound good. My mom said that if I had natural talent, then it would show up when I was a little kid. However, my choir teacher tells me I'm an incredible singer, and she's the type that never lies to make someone feel good. When I was a little kid, my chest voice wasn't so great and I didn't know how to use my head voice. I'm 13 right now, and a mezzo-soprano (though I have almost a three octave range). So do you have to be talented as a little kid to be a talented singer?
That is not true ive been singing for my whole life and wen u get older your voice just gets a little bit deeper, it doesnt change wether you have talent or not, and if your goin to take lessons, try leopold singing classes there great!

heres my situation..i been wit my bf for like ever and now all of a sudden his ex has been startin shit wit me..posting blogs on myspace about me callin me a stalker and all and writin stuff everywhere online about me and textin my bf and stuff all the time tryin to get bak wit him and he tells her to stop all the time and then after that she comes and starts crap wit me..i jus duno what to do and she told me now that he was wit her on saturday and the only thing is my bf wasnt wit me til saturday nite so im not sure..he told me he saw her on saturday but only to pay bak sum money he borrowed from her and thats how she knows i wasnt wit him and shes jus sayin that to start crap wit me but i am jus so unsure who to believe anymore..she runs to my bf and tells him im startin wit her and then he comes to me tellin me what she said and all and then i defend myself of course and he believes me kinda i guess and then she starts again..i jus duno if i should believe her or him..i kno it sounds badd but i think no matter what he does to me i cant let him go..hes amazing and i jus wish he would tell me the truth..unless he already has..im so unsure nemore..i duno if he cheated or not..so unsure..what do u think?..if u wanna kno more jus tell me and ill tell you nething you wanna kno..i just need advice though..this is tearing me up and its not like i dont trust him because i do but still when she says stuff to me it makes me think..i been hurt real badd before by sum1 and im not tryin to go through it again..
I think that you should just ignore her, she just wants to get u mad at your bf, and if you guys really like/love eachother, then you should not let her interfere.

Well my best friend went out with my ex-boyfriend 2 days after i broke up with him, even though i wish i hadent. I only broke up with him because he lived to far away.. But it just bugs me that she did that, and i dont know what to do. I told her that i didnt care because i dont want to let some guy (no offence) get between me and her- but it is! ok so im your tipical f/14. i have kissed a guy and all that good stuff but im not a slut. i kept some notes from recent years that i didnt want anyone to see. well i keep them in a box thats ALWAYS locked. one day i left it open and i went to school. my mom went in the room that was it and read EVERY SINGLE NOTE. now she has gone to far. shes done stuff like this before but not this bad. im about to either run away or just block her out of my life. shes pissed at me for not talking to her about "stuff" and im pissed at her for going through my "stuff" no matter what in my opion she should have never looked at any of the stuff it had nothing to do with her. shes made me so upset, i cried and my blood pressure is so high my face is as red as a tomato and has been like this for about 2 hours. i cant eat im so upset. i dont know what to do but this stuff is getting old FAST!

Hey, I really want to get my ears double pierced but I'm really scared it'll hurt and I'll cry lol. I was about 7ish when I got them pierced for the first time and I cired. And my friend says it doesn't hurt, pintching your ear hurts more then piercing it. So basically does it hurt??

Long distance relationships are often hard to keep together, the possibility of him cheating is alot more posible, but i guess that this kind of distance will test the streanth of your relationship, i think that you should stay together with him, but if there are any signs that he is cheating you should dump him immediately

Hey, sorry if this is in the wrong category, but I wasn't sure what to put it in.
Well, to start things off, I'm very self conscious. I think I am fat & ugly & just not a cool person.
Last night, I was at the pool & I was wearing a bikini. There were two of my guy friends there & one of my girl friends. I started feeling really self-conscious & I sat on the step of the pool [still in the water] hugging my knees. My two guy friends asked my friend what was wrong with me, so she came over & talked to me. They found out that I thought that I was fat & started rambling on about how I wasn't fat & how if I was any skinnier that I'd be anorexic...etc. It helped a bit but I still feel so self-conscious.
Now, for the guys on this site, do ya'll think really confident girls are attractive? or the more humble quiet ones?
& How do i get to feeling better about myself? I hate being the party pooper when it comes to swimming & such. Anyone got any good advice?

if you feel like you're too fat or too ugly, you could try wearing clothes that bring out your good features.You could also try working out at a gym, or eating healthier, and for the ugly part you could try wearing lipgloss, pouder, wich covers up pimples, and also maybe some eyeliner.
