Neglecting to eat is NOT the way to go about this. Do you know how much damage that will do to your body? There are better routes to take, trust me. If you honestly feel like you're in trouble with this, I think you should bring it up with a trusted adult. Anorexia Nervosa is not something to toy around with. It's a serious and fatal condition.

I'll include a link on some of the damage that can be done to the body as a result of malnutrition. Hopefully this will scare you straight:

Now, if you're willing to take the healthy approach at this weight loss thing, we'll start out with the obvious: exercise.

A few good activities that can simply assist in porportioning the body in it's ENTIRTY would be anything that gets the blood circulation goin', such as: jogging, jumping jacks, jumping rope, walking, and bicycle riding. Also, if you have access to a heated pool, water aerobics work like a charm!!

And if you'd like to target your tummie specifically, try doing a couple hundred sit ups or crunches. I know, I know, I know.. "a couple hundred' SEEMS like a lot, but if you break it up into sessions, it's not that difficult, really.

For directions on doing a correct crunch, check out:

To tone your butt and thighs, do leg lifts. To do these, stand up straight, and slowly move your leg -ONLY YOUR LEG- backwards. Like, say you're going to kick something, but kick BARKWARDS, and DON'T BEND YOUR KNEES!! Make sense???

To tone your arms, take two dum bells [whatever weight works for you]. Put one in each arm, and stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart. Bring the dum bells up to your chest with your elbows folded out [like Tarzan pounding his chest-sort of motion, ya know?] Then at a MEDIUM speed... extend your arms out to the side, and slowly bring them back in. You can do two at a time to help balance the strength build up and toning, or do one at a time if it's easier. THIS DOES CUH-RRRRAZZIIEEEEEEE AMOUNTS OF MIRCALE!!!!!!!!!! If you do it for at least 20 minutes a day you'll see a GIGANTIC difference in a week, TOPS. I do them all the time; it's fun!!

Also, providing you cut out the EXTREMELY unhealthy foods, such as WHITE bread [substitute it with wheat], cake products, ice cream, hamburgers, and soda... [if you're used to consuming A LOT of it] you can see a significant amount of weight loss after the first two weeks, alone.

You can find lists of healthy foods at:
-- [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
-- [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
-- [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

As you probably already know, it's best to eat several small portions a day; but this does not mean to "starve" yourself. Say, have an apple and a piece of cheese, two hours later have a few crakers, and an hour later have one piece of wheat toast, and so on and so forth, ya know??? And those are just some snack ideas. When it comes to solid meals, you don't really have to cut out much. Just take in moderation. Little intakes of food like that gives your body time to digest it properly. You see how that's better than eating one or two huge meals a day?? Because then it would take too long to catch up, and your bodyy will not be able to burn the calories quickly enough; so it just quits, adding body fat.

Of course you must realize that weight loss takes time. I can't really say how long it will take; I suppose that differs from person to person. It really just depends on how much weight you're looking to shed. I'd say you could lose 10 to 20 pounds within the first month; that's very possible (seeing as how a good portion of that 10-20 pounds will be water weight).

You just have to stay committed, and strive to keep up the drive. Some tips: just try to keep yourself busy, and sleep as often as possible. Those things keep your mind off of food.
Sure it seems like you're giving up so much, but think about what you will be gaining if you feel better about yourself?? That's the best damned grand prize you'll EVER find.

Goodluck to you! Feel free to get ahold of me personally if you'd like any other information or opinions! I'd be happie to help where I can! :D

Try running a lot more often, or taking walks, or lifting weights; when you start sweating, that's when you start losing body weight.
Don't force yourself to do something you can't do!

Exercise, exercise, exercise. That's the key to losing weight. Why not buy a work out video for you to work out to in your own home? It'll tone your muscles which will help lose the unwanted weight?
Best of luck!

well yeah playing sports is good...but eating barely anything isnt. You shouldnt cut down on food, you should just eat healther ones. For instance, instead of a burger, eat a salad, stuff like that. you'll see a bigger change then

hi there,

football aka soccer isnt a good idea for losing weight it mainly focuses on your legs not your whole package.

try eating less fatty food and more vegetables and fruits and also drink lots of water.

losing weight cant be seen in a matter of days but its an ongoing thing

it you could also take walks or jogging that would be helpful.

Hey, not eating is not the best thing to do, Cuz when you dont eat your body doubles everyting you put into your body. And since your in soccer GREAT!! Stay in it, and in your spare time just do so exercises like:push ups, sit ups, jogging, walking(30mins), things like that.. Then when your eating try and wat heathy food like salads, fruit, and veggies... I hope that helps!!!

The key to loosing weight = exercise & eating healthy.

You might think it's really hard, but if you put your mind to it, trust me you'll get the hang of it.

Do not starve yourself. If you don't eat for a while and then take a sandwich you will actually gain weight. You can eat foods that are good for you, but low in fat. Such as, fruits & vegtables. I know what everyone thinks of when people say that. Yuck! But seriously, if you make dishes that you think are yummy then yay! When you want to eat fruits, you can make a smoothie. Without sugar of course.

You can still eat normal food, but don't eat when you're not hungry and eat 3 meals a day. When you want to snack, choose health over fat. ;)

Go to this site. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

There are a bunch of exercises you can do. It tells you what exercises to do for each part of the body.

You have to stick to this to get some results. If you don't, don't be surprised you didn't loose weight. If you are really commited to this talk to your mom about going to a nutritionist.

Good luck ♥

Not eating will make you gain wait.

You body goes into a self preservation starving mode and everything you do eat makes you fat.

You are probably getting plenty of exercise. Try eating more for a week or two and see if that doesn't make you lose. You will be surprised. :)
