About three weeks ago i started taking diet pills without my parents knowing. After i took them i started feeling really nervous. My heart feels like it's beating really hard and fast. I'm breathing really weird and it takes me forever to go to sleep cuz i'm soo wired. I stopped the pills shortly after taking them but i'm still messed up. Does anybody know what's wrong and how i could fix it???

babyemz answered Monday August 1 2005, 10:56 am: Well hun I would say go to a doctor and get yourself checked out because those pills might have done something to do and to be honest i would just excersice and eat good foods and hopefully it works better than pills <3 [ babyemz's advice column | Ask babyemz A Question ]
xxxxxx answered Monday August 1 2005, 9:26 am: The reason you are shaking and feeling sick is because the diet pills are unsafe and have an ingredient called "ephedrin" (sp?) which causes the racing heart beat and complications that can potentially lead to a heart attack. Just wait it out for about a week to see if it continues, but I highly suggest telling your parents or a doctor. [ xxxxxx's advice column | Ask xxxxxx A Question ]

crazy4him answered Monday August 1 2005, 2:13 am: what you are taking is more then just asprin. Most diet pills are a form of speed. The jitters you feel and not being able to sleep are not good, So I am glad you got wise and stopped. Remember, God loves you and made you in His image. So why change the way you look. He LOVES you no matter what you look like. [ crazy4him's advice column | Ask crazy4him A Question ]

If they don't, go to your doctor and tell them what you took so they can work out the best thing to help you. [ ncblondie's advice column | Ask ncblondie A Question ]

DeeSireDiOr answered Sunday July 31 2005, 11:55 pm: Hey
Oh wow babe. This is really serious.
You should see a doctor as soon as possible.
Tell your parents. After all your parents care about you and would rather die then see you get hurt. Im sure if you tell them they will know what to do and how to help. They love and care for you so dont worry. Just please go to the doctor. I send best wishes your way. feel better
xomellanie answered Sunday July 31 2005, 11:45 pm: go see a doctor or something if you think that something's wrong. i'm not sure how you could go to the doctor without your parents knowing, though. Maybe you should just confess to your parents that you've been taking the pills.

navybrat302 answered Sunday July 31 2005, 11:22 pm: Well I suggest you tell your parents because they need to know. IF you tell them they'll probably take you to a doctor or know what to do.
Hope I helped.
