I'm not sure why, but latley I haven't been so happy lately. I mean I'm so sick of being me. I don't like my hair, im not as pretty as Miss popular. I dont dress as great as them and I've been alone alot latley cause none of my friends have been invitin me over anymore. I've been on a no sode low sugar diet and I lost my baby fat (im 13 and i weigh 105 lbs) so im noT like fat or anything but I somehow got off my diet and I just feel soo crappy I havent gotten back on. I hate me right now, what should I do?

well i know that a lot of people have already answered but i figured i would chip in anyway. i think every girl goes thruogh this at least once.i mean i have gone through this sort of phase about ten or fifteen times so i figure it averages out to one or two times for everyone else. anyway that doesnt really help but what i do when i feel really bad about about how i look i avoid mirrors, i dont touch myself in any way, do things that make me forget like read or take a walk or exercise some. i hate being lonely, you and me both know it sucks. i live in a plave where there is absolutely nothing to do and yea im not the miss popular either. i have quite a few friends but not many that i hang out with a lot. so idk just call them and maybe invite them to see a movie or something like that. maybe go shopping or get a hair cut that you like. basically, GET OUT AND DO SOMETHING. its hard to get a little motivation sometimes but find some. it helps.

try something new! try a new haircut,new diet(actually u skinny thing u shouldnt be on a diet! that could be unhealthy if you get too skinny) anyways be spontaneous! call up old friends (make new ones!) oooo ya know what? listen to music like BOB MARLEY! he rocks my socks! hes so positive and you should be to! if you want to (look) better to make yourself happy...do so. puton make-up,get a tan. shop for new clothes and such. just be happy with yourself ohkay hun?

don`t push your self so much, who cares if your not as pretty as miss popular.. who cares if your hair wasn`t what it once was.. why does it matter how you dress.. everything you told me had to do with whats on the outside, how about the inside? all i have to say is, if your not satisfied with what you have.. then you should be ashamed.. why would you ever want to be like everyone else.. yess!! im pround of you for loosing that baby fat, but im not proud of the way you take yourself as.. even though i may not know you, your probably a sweet, beautiful person inside, and if you can`t see it, then no one else would, so find who you are, dont care soo muchh about what you were b4, this is now. and when you find yourself.. i`m sure everyone else will see it, and you`ll be back to your normal self, and possibly feel better.

i always feel like that and sometimes it just feels nice to go for a walk or treat yourself like getting your nails done. maybe you could talk to your friends or ask them to hang out

Well gosh! I think we all go through periods of being unhappy to a certain extent. Your friends probably feel the energy you are giving off and that's why you're not getting invited because it's not fun to be with someone who is down on themselves. Now, there is hope. I have a little exercise for you. Every day, find 1 thing you like about yourself. Com'on - you can find one (probably more). Every time you start thinking of what you don't like - just think of that one thing you like. Eventually you will change the pattern of thought and start liking you more. This is the body you have for the rest of your life - love it! It's uniquely you. Second, don't compare yourself with anyone! You are you -not them!!! What other people are doing is none of your business!!! The secret is, the reason why everyone thinks they are the bomb is because THEY DO!!! YOu gotta believe in you and talk yourself up!!

Go right back on that diet, and maybe get a lil excersize to stay fit and feeling good.

you dont need to be as pretty as miss popular or anything, there are people who are not as pretty as you just look at that and think im glad im not looking like them cuz then you would be really down.

Just be happy with what you got. :)

People do go through these phases sometimes. Sounds to me like you are just really bored and lacking in some motivation. I get sorta depressed and unhappy whenever I'm not feeling mentally stimulated.
So shake yourself off and try something new. Bake a cake or make a craft or paint a picture, join a club or something. Give yourself something to wake up for each morning. Don't worry about your diet or clothes, find deeper happiness in being yourself.

have you been acting like what your saying around your friends that may be why they dont invite you anywhere because your acting so down on your self have a little more confidence in your self who cares if you not the most popular girl or the prettest girl but if you act more happier and not put your self down then people might hangout with you more and you might feel better with your self

Trust me, last year i went through the SAME EXACT THING. It's just a phase for now. When you are 13 you tend to be very insecure and you start to feel like no matter what you;re the odd man/woman out. Just for now think about things that make you original and wonderful. It's a crappy to be 13. Trust me, time will go and these things will be less important to you. Once you're out of this phase you're gonna look back and think "what was i thinking?!"

everyone feels crappy sometimes. invite some people over ur house or something. dont sit around hoping they will call you.
it could also be your diet. start eating normally and see if that works. <33

Talk to someone def. I mean..I don't think depression can set in at such a young age but I had a lot of those feelings when I was your age and talking to someone helped.

Everyone feels crappy and hates them self once in a while. It's called insecurities and that is so natural. Especially to me because I just rag on myself, and I judge too deeply when it comes to myself or situations. What you have to focus on is why you feel that way. Writing sometimes help relieve you of these feelings because it flows from you onto the pages. You have to learn how to accept the scrutiny of yourself and to deal with it in a healthy way. Acknowledge these insecurities of yours and accept them. Strive to overcome them in a healthy matter. Deal with it in a way that is comfortable for you. And try to focus upon what is positive about you. And what you like about yourself because you need to focus on the good. Do some writing about it because that will make you feel loads time better.
