why are we here
here is something i dont understand and i sont know if anyone here understands it. Why are we here just why i dont understand it we were put here by god but why it makes no sense. i mean think we live just so we can die it makes no sense so i dont understan why we would be put here by god it makes no sense because one day we could be alive and the next we could be dead just why.

I personally don't think anyone can give the TRUE explanation for this..you just have to form your own opinion by being informed on different religions
Hinduism is a really cool religion because it deals with just being a good person..not having to worship god or jesus or anything.

I understand, life gets confusing sometimes ... I suggest you read Ecclesiastes .. Solomon and alot of wisdon but he wondered the same thing .. He said that everything was useless !! Maybe you'll get some answers in there ..

I believe in God. Furthermore, I believe that God is love and life. Literally. I believe that everyone that is able to love is part of God, and I believe that everything that is alive is also part of God.
I believe that we are here to discover who God is by discovering who we are. For example: I can say that God is Forgiveness. But how do I know? I would only be able to _know_ by experience. How can I experience God as Forgiveness? By having the experience of forgiving someone who has hurt me. If I can forgive someone who has deeply hurt me, whether they have asked for my forgiveness or not, I know that I am a forgiving person. Then I can only marvel, because if I can be so forgiving, and God is infinite, I can only imagine how infinitely forgiving God really is.
Why do I believe that discovering who God is, is why we are here? Because I believe that God is all there really is.
I understand that this may make no sense to you. This idea is pretty abstract and difficult for me to put into words. Furthermore, I could be wrong.
Oh well. I guess I'll just have to keep wondering until I die. Maybe then I'll have an answer.

This is a question that no one really has an answer to, or it can'tbe explained. A lot of people share your point of view. In my opinion, we are here to learn and grow. What we pass on to others are our accomplishments and that what makes our life worth living. Not long ago, I used to think life was a waste, that all we do in the end is die. In the end we do die, but it is how we live our life that makes dying all the more worth it, so we can pass our values on to the next generations, so people can go on remembering us. Yes, eventually our names will evaporate and no one will remember us, but someone will, as long as we can affect them in some way. That is, again, my opinion. Hope I helped in some way ^_^

i don't know if you believe in god or not. but you are here to influence other people's lives and decisions. you are made to be exactly how you are, with the ability to make yourself however you want to be. and don't think about death, it is one of those things that literally won't matter until you die, so why think about it

God has put us on the earth for a purpose! We may never know why... but as we live on this earth we must live it out as long as we can.. and have fun living our lives! And to live for God is one of our purposes.. we get to see miracles happen everyday.. and we get to live.. and yes we do die.. but we have eternal life after it if we have accepted Christ!.. there are many ways to look at life.. the happy way, the angry way, the sad way!.. many ways!..You can look in the Bible and find many verses that show you are we are living in this world!

Well, since I'm not religious, I can't really answer you question since you are asking why 'god' put us on the earth. How do we even know there is a god?
Maybe we were put on this earth to make a difference and an impact on others. Who really knows? If I were you though, I would just try live your life to it's fullest extent!

God made people so they could be His friends. Adam and Eve were the first people on earth. The Bible says He walked with them and talked with them in the Garden of Eden. They were perfect and holy. God didn't want robots for friends, so He gave Adam and Eve a free will. They had the ability to make their own choices. God told them they could eat from any of the trees in the garden except one. Because when they did, they would surely die. Sly satan (a fallen angel) convinces Eve that they would not die. Satan may have prompted the desire, but it was Eve's choice. So she took the fruit and gave some to Adam and they both ate it. Did they both fall over dead? No, but their spirits died and the physical process to death began. From then on, all generations have inherited this sin nature and are separated from Holy Almighty God. But God so loved the world that He sent His only Son Jesus that whoever believes in Him will not parish but will have everlasting life. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for people to be redeemed. We all still have a free will and need to make a choice. We need to either accept Jesus and have life put back in us or we choose a dead spirit. I chose Jesus and although I still live in a fallen, sin-filled world, my spirit is alive and I am reconciled to my Maker.
The ultimate purpose for every person is to be God's friend. Then we each have individual purposes that serve Him. If my only purpose in life was to introduce you to Jesus Christ, then my life has been fulfilled. The fact that you asked shows me you're seeking Him whether you realize it or not. Choose Jesus.

You're put here to make a difference. Are you religios? Do you go to church, if so, ask a preacher, a pastor, a pope, or whoever is 'in charge' of the church/synagogue/ect. that you go to. If not, then I guess you still believe in God. We were put her to make a difference for someone/something/ and or ourselves. Everyone has a purpose, you just have to pursue life to find it. It's a confusing thing, religion, but it's what you believe. This is just my opinion, yours can and just may be completely different. I use to question how God made us, and before God created everything where was he? People always told me he was always there, I was just wondering, if there was nothing, then he was always where? You just have to believe. I know I'm not the most religious person, I know I sin probably everyday of my life, and probably more than once. I'm catholic, for lent I gave up using bad language, I'm trying really hard to stop, but it's difficult, and I admit I've slipped up when I got really frustrated or something, but I try and that's what counts. What you need to do is either just believe in faith, or just look at it as the glass is half empty. But to answer your question, we only get one life, live it best you can. We were put here to live, to have a purpose, try and find yours. I think I found mine, I used to believe I didn't have one. I wanted to committ suicide. I eventually told someone that I wanted to committ suicide, I came as far as planning how and where it was going to happen. I made a when, but I decided that I'd live until then, make a new when, and if I still felt bad I'd do it, I'd take my life. But you have to realize you need to get out there and find your purpose, live your life. This probably doesn't answer your question at all, because my opinion doesn't matter, yours does. I'm here to give you some thought and some insight. I hope you find what you're looking for!

well my mom works at our church and really its just b/c god has a plan for everybody.its not just like we are here and then we die. we all have meaning if u do not have a religon take up one for me i have christanity no strickt rules well some but very many.try to join a cell group they can all help.or try to go to church w/a friend.try to do what i am doing and help sombody.

if you look at it we sorta seem like experiments. But thats my opinion. lol. But i think he/she is just trying to see what lives the best and sees what happens when he/she puts another species on earth. But there's probably even more ideas why out there. It jus depends on how you believe it.

we are here because God created us for a purpose, and he has a plan for each and every one of us. NO ONE knows why God wants us here, but we live for God everyday...at least some of us. We make up silly accusations of why we are here, but science could be wrong, right?? They are wrong about TONS of things...so maybe this is one. Our purpose is to live for God so we will be saved in the end.
