GTRocker326 answered Wednesday July 6 2005, 10:02 pm: One reason your dog may be doing this is because it did it once and it can still smell the smell of its own urine and it thinks that is the place to go. No matter how many times you wash the pillow it will still go there. Do you keep your dog outside or in a kennel at night? If so I might try letting the dog sleep in the same room as you. With my dog, she use to have a similar problem only she would go on the carpet. Once we started letting her sleep inside with us she knew that the house was her 'nest' and dogs always leave their nest or home to go to the bathroom. Good luck and if you have any more questions you can IM me at GTRocker326, or you can e-mail me at GTRocker326@aim.com [ GTRocker326's advice column | Ask GTRocker326 A Question ]
Catcrazygurl answered Thursday March 10 2005, 10:23 pm: He may have bad dreams at night. Or night sounds may startle him, causing him to do this. I would try getting him his own bed for a while and see if he still does. [ Catcrazygurl's advice column | Ask Catcrazygurl A Question ]
xo_dream answered Saturday February 19 2005, 10:19 pm: does she get a new pillow every time this happens? because otherwise she's going to think it's "her" spot to pee.
anyways, my old dog peed on my parents bed once because he was mad at my mom because he wanted to go to bed but she wouldn't turn the light off, so maybe she gets mad about something? maaaybe you should talk to your vet about it. [ xo_dream's advice column | Ask xo_dream A Question ]
Erinn_the_bamf answered Saturday February 19 2005, 10:21 am: Is your dog a male or female? If it's a male it probably is trying to send out a sign that the pillow is his. If it's a female I'm not quite sure why. Maybe the same reason? Try asking your vet also. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck [ Erinn_the_bamf's advice column | Ask Erinn_the_bamf A Question ]
SugaHigh answered Friday February 18 2005, 8:42 pm: Once a dog pees somewhere once they will forever think its ok because they wil smell it. No matter how many times you wash it. Try punishing him/her to try and teach it that peeing inside is wrong [ SugaHigh's advice column | Ask SugaHigh A Question ]

My mom snores and i think my cat gets mad at the sound because my cat pees on the rug in my moms room. $$$Babii D$$$ [ BabiiD's advice column | Ask BabiiD A Question ]
bAhAmAmA0250 answered Friday February 18 2005, 1:04 pm: Probably marking his territory thats the spot he wants. I would have thrown the pillow away by now.. but i would have your mom get a new pillow and new pillow case and close her bedroom door and you need to pat his nose and say no! you cant do that you need to tell him whats right from wrong-trix [ bAhAmAmA0250's advice column | Ask bAhAmAmA0250 A Question ]
chaos answered Friday February 18 2005, 11:34 am: You need to clean the pillow with some sort of pet cleaner from the store. If it doesn't get clean, he thinks it's ok to use the bathroom there because he's done it before. They have a sharper sense of smell and can smell it even if you think it is clean. Maybe mom should just get a whole new pillow entirely. [ chaos's advice column | Ask chaos A Question ]
BeautifulMadness answered Friday February 18 2005, 11:28 am: S/he is probably just 'marking' his/her territory. I really don't think there's much you can do about it...try lifting him/her up every time s/he starts doing it and putting him on the floor or on some newspaper or something. Or tell her/him off when you catch them doing it and give him/her a treat if s/he stops.
Hope that helped!!
Blessed Be,
