Q: alright. my boyfriend and I broke up about 4 months ago. & I still like him / havn't gotten over him yet. we only went out for 3 months. I really want him back and give it another try. He says he likes me but he also likes another girl. This girl that he likes calls him alot and shows him she cares about him, while I don't do anything bc I feel like I have no chance whatsoever. He told me that I should try ( call him and stuff) but I don't know if I should just move on or try to win him over. What would you do?

I think this guy is trouble. It's bad enough he likes 2 girls and can't choose, but to actually TELL you to fight for him? It looks to me like he wants attention so he can go run to his friends and say how he got 2 girls chasing after him. If I was you, I'd move on. There are alot more fish in the sea.

Q: There is this end of the year graudation dance on June 9th. A lot of people have dates, and I really want one. Can you think of anyway that I could get a date? I talk to guys and stuff. But how do I put myself out there and show them that I wanna go with someone?

You shouldn't "put yourself out there", because some people may just think that its desperate. But, you can probably hint around to some of the people who you may want to go with. If you don't have a date, don't sweat it, alot of people go without dates and have a better time then those who DO have dates. You know why? Dating=Drama.

Q: I would like teenagers to answer this one,

My daughter is 13. But the clothes she wears are not...happy. She always is sarcastic. She listens to strange, loud music. Is this the fashion these days? Should I let her be?

I would just let her be herself. I know a few people who's parents don't let them be who they are (whether its emo, gay, punk, thug or whatever) and they basically do it behind their backs. It's better to know about it then to have her lie about it. She will get over it eventually.

Q: my arms are kinda hairy, but not really bad or anything but do you think thats gross or anything because my mom wont let me shave them

My sister use to shave her arms becuz she said that they were too hairy, but in the end she just got tired of shaving them constantly, so she stopped. Not only did it take about 2 weeks to look normal, but she said that it was irritating her skin.
I think some stores sell die to make your arm hair blend in with your skin, so if it bothers you alot, try that.

Q: My ex-best friend Hana and I used to be really close, but ever since she went down to visit her cousin (who is pretty slutty herself) she's been acting like the only thing that matters in the world is how good she looks. It was really starting to piss me off, so I told her. She blew it off like it was nothing, which made me angrier. So, now she's started hanging out with two other girls that are known as sluts at our school, and they've really been annoying me. She pretty much dropped me for them, which made me sad. Now since she's found out that her only friends are the other two sluts, she's been trying to be friends with me again. I don't know if I should accept her friendship or not because it really made me angry how she dropped me like that. She hasn't even said sorry... Now since she's been hanging out with those two girls, I haven't talked to her at all. It really makes me sad that we're not friends anymore because we used to be able to tell eachother anything. I've made new friends, but in a way I miss my old one. If you have any advice for me then that would be awesome! Thanks

It's funny, I actually had the same thing happen to me recently. Listen, just brush her off... I wouldn't give her another chance. This is mainly because the same thing happened to me, and she tried to turn ME into who she was... which isn't worth it. I'm sure your new friends will soon take the place of your old one.

Q: I just moved into a new house and my room is light pink and green. I am not into that at all, not one bit. But my parents won't let me paint over it. I'm not gothic; but my favourite color is black, i wear black all the time, i'm into heavy metal, my favorite band is Lamb of God and Insane Clown Posse. I like stars and hearts. I would probably be more into the colours if they were alot darker, but i can't paint! I asked if i could get a black stripe near the top but our painters' hand isnt steady enough, but I can paint some black into it, but where? Not the whole thing so what can i do? What can i do that will make my room alot less girly and young? Please help! I hate these light baby colors!

Anyways, I would try to get some posters to cover over the walls. Also, try and be creative, maybe put those glow in the dark starts and planets everywhere...
Since you can put black somewhere, maybe just do one wall to give it more of a "you" feel... ya know? Or, you could always do stripes..

You should probably tell him that if he isn't going to break up with her, than he isn't worth your time. If a guy EVER says that that it's worth waiting for, it normally isn't worth it. Besta Luck

Q: 15 f, i have a big group of friends..but they are all guys. we always go to parties together and a lot of them always try to hook up with me i recently broke up with my long term boyfriend and JASON CODY and TERRY asked me out. im worried that if i go out with any of the guys in my group the rest will get cut at me and ditch me.. i really like CODY.. not only is he the youngest in the group (16) but hes the shortest and im the tallest girl in school(5'11)... They are all fighting about it.. i dont know what to do i really like CODY but we look stupid together, it will cause a lot of trouble and i could end up with no friends.. what should i do?

If you like Cody as much as you say you do, it would not matter how stupid you look together. But, since you don't want to ruin your friendships, tell them that. Maybe after awhile they will back off and you can go out with Cody. Besta Luck

Q: Here's the deal. I am 21/f. My mother and father are divorced. My father has a son (with another woman) and he has my little brother(with my mom) my whole brother stays with my mom. Every since they split 10 years ago my father has not been doing much of anything for my brother. He only gives him something on christmas and his birthday. He hardly ever sees him and I am furious. I feel he should pay child support to my mother for my whole brother. My momma is having to carry all the weight that he should be sharing. My half brother gets to see daddy all the time. Why should my half brother get all and my whole brother gets next to nothing. If it matters My half brother is 13 (born out of wedlock) and my whole brother is 12) Should I push her to stick him for child support. She feels that since my dad and my step mom raised me she has no right because he didn't stick her for child support. My mom did things for me though. Should I push her or just back off.
The lack of money is keeping my brother from things he would rather do like piano lessons, boy scouts and movie going. I don't think its fair. Help me decide!

I think you should ask your dad about it. Maybe try to convince him to spend time/money for your brother. If that doesn't work, tell your mom she should ask for child support. Besta Luck

I think you should sit her down and tell her that you DON'T like the other person more than her. Make sure you spend your time with both people evenly. She is probably just jealous that you have other people of importance. Besta Luck

If you have recently shaved, it could have been torn skin. In that case, it is nothing serious. But, since you have recently had sex with your boyfriend, ask him to get tested (along with yourself) for STDS. Besta Luck

Did you get him from a shelter? There is a chance that the dog may have been abused with former "parents". You could try looking into this. If you just got the dog, give him time, sometimes they just get scared. I know people who have a formally abused dog, and he is still scared of people. Besta Luck

I don't think you should have sex with him unless your ready. He might just be playing you to have sex. I would talk to him about it, and see if he is being honest with you. Ask around, see if he tells that to every girl. Besta Luck

I think you might like him, but you don't want to start anything since you don't know whether your friends would agree with his style. Q: i guessed my mom's password for her email and it was right.. i know i shouldnt have, but i looked at all her emails with my aunt. i've been having a hard time lately w/ cutting and things and i didnt want my mom to tell anyone (she found out, bc my school found out and yadda yadda..im seeing a theripist..not important)but in these emails she told my aunt all about it. i am kinda mad but i cant say anything bc I wend snooping. im feeling really guilty and dont know what to do..any sugestions =/

Q: i'm currently a freshman in my second semester of college and i have a problem staying awake in my classes, even if i get adequate hours of sleep the night before!

i've tried drinking coffee during class (despite the caffeine, has not worked for me), bringing munchies, having a water bottle, doodling on my notebook, and vice versa. basically anything to keep me busy and awake! all of my attempts have failed...any ideas?

Try getting 8 hours of sleep, waking up about an hour before you need to, do what you have to, and take a nap. This helps me stay awake sometimes, it's sometimes refreshing. You could also wake up 10 minutes earlier, and right before you leave, exercise. Get your blood flowing. Besta Luck
