I would talk to them. You dont have 2 be like, oh your so mean! just calmly explain that its bothering u and DON'T join in on the teasing. If they really are your best friends, they should understand that you want it to stop and not do it anymore, especially if someone could get hurt! Q: Okay, so i have this friend and we were REALLY close last semester. We got in a big fight in January b/c she kept on criticising the way i ate. But when we got into the fight..she said some very hurtful things to me that didnt even have to do with her calling me a pig. She doesnt respect my feelings and it hurts! We made up...but things havent been the same ever since. Now...shes got a "new best friend" and it seems like shes shoving it in my face. I know after all the hurtful things shes done and said to me that im better off not being her firend. But i feel like a piece of me is missing...like im not whole...and i get really depressed when i see her and her new best friend laughing and having a good time. I dont know what to do...im really sad...but i dont want to be her friend if she keeps acting the way she does.

I know how you feel. My best friend has made new best friends too, and it hurts sometimes. I know you might not want to hear this, but if she's not going to respect your feelings, she's not a true friend. Also, if you feel sad while your around her, get a little closer to some other friends, or try to spend a little more time with her! luv yah! ~Alex

Q: Ok the other day (I forgot how we came up on the subject)my friend and I were talking about how much we weighed. I told her first, but I am pretty skinny. Well, she told me she only weighed 2 more pounds than me (92). I think she is lying, however (maybe she feels embarassed?), because she wears a size five in jeans (I wear a 0). Can she really only weigh 2 more pounds than me, and yet still wear jeans way bigger than me? b/c me and this girl are REALLY good friends & i she NEVER lies to me (and i would hate for her to start!!) I think it is possible for her to only be a couple pounds heavier than you, because I have friends who wear jeans like 3 sizes bigger than me and weigh only a couple pounds more. She also could have lied because she feels embarrassed that you weigh so much less then her --Alex

Q: okay my friend are the so called popular group and they have all had or have boyfriends and stuff and are slutty and stuff like that and i am friends w/ them and i have never had a boyfriend (though i have grinded w/ guys b4)and like when ever they bring up the subject of like boyfrinds or hooking up i always fell uncomfortable.......also i have been cutting latly because i have just become so overwelmed w/ every thing!help me out?

Don't feel bad. Everyone finds someone they want to be with at their own time. If you really want a boyfriend that bad flirt a little more. Dont cut yourself either. That makes the situation worse, and its not healthy! You don't have to have a bf to have friends. I'm single too, but I still have great friends, some with boyfriends, some without, and we have so much fun together! Hope I helped, ~Alex
