Aww, sweetheart, you've just started your period. Now, while I love to explain things and give advice, I strongly suggest you tell your foster mom you think you started your period, and ask her to explain everything to you. Parents (even foster parents) are the best resources ever, and I suggest you take full advantage of them! I'm sure she'd be willing to talk to you about it. It's totally normal and happens to all girls around your age. It just means you're turning into a young woman. =)
I hope this helps!

wow! you have ur period! dont they teach you where you live ]
You're having you period. Don't worry all girls get it. I suggjest talking to you foster mom. Since she also is a woman she'll understand and hopfully shell got you some pads. You usually get it once a month but your cicles will be alittle odd int he first year or so. to keep track of how you bleeding comes mark the calendar maybe with a star and count the days to when and when not you have it.
hope i helped!

Dearest, every girl at sometime or another bleeds "down there" and I understand how scarey/embaraasing it is. I tried to hide it from my mom. But anyways.... don't be afraid to tell your foster parents....if you don't want to tell both go to your foster mom, she'll understand and she can help you with it, don't worry about it that much though, its not that bad after awhile. ]
Sweetie, you just started your period. Go to your foster mom and tell her that you started your period and that you need to go buy some pads. Remember to mark your calendar on the days you have your period. Hope I helped :)

The people below are right; you've started your period.
I actually went through a similar situation. I was staying with Auntie's at the time and didn't want to tell them.
If I were you, I'd go out to a local chemist and buy some pads yourself. Then next time your period comes around (in around a months time) hopefully you will be a bit closer to your foster Mum so you can tell her then. She's been there too!
Good luck,

It's actually very simple, YOU STARTED YOUR PERIOD. Now go get some pads or tampons. And talk to your foster mom. After all she went through it too.

Theres nothing to worry about it happens to every girl every month...it just means your becoming a young women and a period is one of the most visible signs that you are starting puberty. Puberty happens for girls between the ages of 9 and 16. Everyone is different when it comes to timing...this is what a period is...The blood that leaves your body during your period is the blood and tissue that build up as the lining of your uterus each month. Your period flow can be light, heavy, or somewhere in between. It may also be heavy the first day or so of your period, and then get lighter. Periods usually last between three and five days, but it is normal to have periods that are either shorter or longer. It is also normal if your periods are not the same number of days each month.
What you use for your period is pads or tampons in which pads are better for your age i wouldnt use tampons untill your older but Pads stick to the inside of your underwear and soak up the blood that leaves the vagina.
Some pads are thinner for days when your period is light, and some are thicker for when you are bleeding more. You can also use these thicker pads at night when you sleep.
During the day, it is best to check your pad to see if it needs changing every couple of hours. It will need to be changed before it is soaked with blood. I hope this helps if you need anymore information about this you can let me know and I will help you out!-Nikki
P.S. .::*Feedback is greatly appreciated*::. ]
Ever seen the movie, "Critters" ]
Ask one of them to take you to a nearby store and give you 7 dollars and you run in and grab pads. This is a normal girl thing EVERY girl goes thru it. So its nothing to be ashamed of. Your just becoming a girl. So no need to worry. So just go grab some pads. You got your period-trixie ]
you're having your period. Tell your foster mom and she can talk to you about it. ]
