Teacher's Pet
A lot of people at school call me teachers' pet. I don't like any of my teachers, nor suck up to them. I only get good grades because I want to get into the Naval Academy. I don't show off or anything.. i think.. so what should I do to shut these bitches up? (13, F, 7th grade)

hahaha thats so funny! dont worry though its just the "7th grade phase"... in 8th grade it gets a little better and in high school youll be respected for it. Actually, when you get to high school people hate those girls that act/are trying to be blonde. But dont worry! and youll be sooo much happier that you worked hard and did well in school when your older! As for now, just ignore the people that are making fun of you- but def. dont let them copy/ take advantage of you cause ull just end up w/ a 0! anyway hope it helped! xoxo!

Dont let people calling you teachers pet get you down. Just because you get good grades doesnt mean your a teachers pet it means you work for somthing. Tell them just because their jelous of your grades doesnt mean they should pick on me. If they keep calling you teachers pet then just dont listen to them and get on with your live.

if they are messing with you never go to any adult. Stand up for yourself, but before you start anything give them a fair warning then bust them in the face. That always works.....but just so you know you will get in trouble.

There comes a time in your life when you have to make a decision....are you going to run your life or let someone else do it for you? you have to live for yourself sometimes and getting good grades is great, so why be ashamed?? who cares what those other kids say!! keep getting good grades and don't worry about those other kids...to hell with them. well no i think you shouldn't say anything to them you don't have to prove anything to them and they are jealous that you get better grades then them and the only thing that should matter is that you really want to get into the naval academy and that you are doing everything you can to get into that school. people say things because they are jealous and they are not thinking before they speak. sunshine 1232

Ignore them. Teacher's pets get good recommendations to go to college. You have a valid reason to get good grades. You will be running the country while they will still be shoveling french fries. Keep up the good work; it does pay off.
