my name ..
ok i like hate my name so much .. it's Liana.. and well people sometimes "cant pronounce it" so they just say "Hey you!" or they just pronounce it wrong. Or sometimes their like "um..you.. i forgot your name" .. and well like is there anything i can do to get people to pronounce my name right or call me something diffferent that is easy to pronounce .. (maybe like a nick name)
p.s. sometimes my friends call me Lee for short but not very often

Just either tell them to call you "Lee", or just tell them how to pronounce it if they get it wrong. That's pretty much all you can do, besides changing your name, and I don't think you would be up to that, haha.

Thats a really cool name! I know how u feel cuz everyone says my name wrong too and i hate it but i'm kinda used to it now...try explaining to them how to pronounce your name and correct them when theyre wrong..make sure not to just let it go otherwise everyone'll just get used to saying it wrong...if that doesnt work just stick with lee...hope I helped! You shouldn't hate your name just because people are too stupid to be able to pronounce it. Its a beautiful name and TRUST ME you could far worse off. Some of my friends have really crazy names, but some just pick random easy names for everyone to call them by. I wouldn't say drop Liana completely. I've always found, although it probably sounds really childish to you is if you add a Y or eee sound on the end of your name people remember it and its cute. My name is Brooke, so everyone calls me Brookie. It stopped for a while because it annoyed me, but now that I'm older I like it again. At one of my universities all us girls in order to show how close were I guess all had nicknames like that...its really cheesy, but the nicknames stuck...Tamara was Tammy (although she hated it, to this day everyone calls her Tammy and no one forgets it)...Francis was Franny...etc...those are actually some horrible names now that I look at it. ENOUGH said. My nickname suggestion for you is Leelee...You might hate it, but I guaranteee people would remember it. Seriously though Nicknames aren't always flattering. I'd stick with your name...Liana is nice. Don't stress...if you're 18, or when you are...you can always legally change your name to whatever you want anyways.

Nobody can pronounce my last name. I really can't wait to get rid of it. Have you tried telling them something it rhymes with? All my friends sat down in class one day and came up with "screen names" for ourselves. So we came up with Zapreth, Phoenix and...Chaos.

well i think thats a pretty name! my name: alex every1 says isnt that a boys name? ahhh excuse me... this is the 21st century... names arent all john and katie anymore.... lol but some nicknames: lia, (pronounced lee-ah) or ana since thats the last part of ur name... i know it can be annoying about ur name... but as soon as u meet people pronounce ur name 4 them... and they shouldnt forget! especially if their ur friends etc.... good luck!

well Liana is not as bad as a lot of people's names out there. Nobody can pronounce my last name. I dont want to post it for personal reasons but my dad is from lebanon and you can imagine what it could be...and my first name is ashley but my middle name is sarah and i go by sarah so people that i first meet are constantly calling me ashley and i have to correct them....so love youself and everything about you. And everytime some one says your name wrong, corrct them. Everytime someone says "hey you" tell them that your name isn't hey you its Liana and when somone says "i forgot your name" tll them it's liana and tell them to try not to forget again. I think it's and very beautiful and unique name.

Hey that's fine when people read my name they usually can't pronounce it right either. It's Elana but usually people say Elaina. lol That's why now a lot of my friends call me Lana. How bout for your name just start telling people it's Ana. Or Lee works too. By the way i really like your name!
