xXxpinky615xXx answered Friday October 8 2004, 4:17 pm: On average, a person should get from 6-9 hours of sleep. I get 8 1/2 because I'm always tired. Most girls I know go to bed at around 10-11 and sometimes even 12 and have to wake up at 6-6:30 in the morning. It all depends on you though. K3587 answered Thursday October 7 2004, 10:29 pm: After about the age of 10, the recommended time is 8 hours. Before that, it is more like 10-12 hours. (Bastard children allowed to get more sleep....SOME OF US HAVE JOBS AND RESPONSIBILITIES, YOU LEECHING WHORES!) Sorry, I hate children. What the hell was I talking about? Oh, right, earthworms. The average earthworm is...wait, that's not what I was talking about.
8 hours is the recommended time until about middle age, at which time it goes back to about 10.
If you find yourself tired still, try taking a nap, but no longer than 45 minutes. That kind of nap will make you feel refreshed; a 2 hour nap will just make you more tired and you won't be able to sleep that night. [ K3587's advice column | Ask K3587 A Question ]
Mandee answered Thursday October 7 2004, 9:35 pm: Sleep is so important and everyone should get about eight to nine hours each night. And because you're a teenager getting that much sleep will keep you awake for the day, energized, and focused. It's hard to get that much sleep though! I always have problems falling asleep, but if you try hard enough to keep track of the hours you sleep and keeping it the same amount each day you should be good!
