homecomming EMERGENCY

I am 16 years old weigh 115 lbs and im 5'4". Well I was trying on homecomming dresses at my friends house <shes in college so she has no use in them> But every dress I tried on I felt soooo fat or shall I say I LOOKED so fat! I was about to cry but I couldnt cry infront of everyone. Homecomming is in about 1 month and a half away. Should I go on a diet or should I just tell my friends I cant go. My friends would be sooo mad at me if they find out im not going because I never been to a dance before. Its NOT as easy as you think it is. I been thinking about it day in and day out. I wish I could just accept that im fat! Do you know any good diets?!? Thank you sooo much

i think the reason you posted this was because you wanted people to be like "oh you are NOT fat" but I'm not going to do that because obviously you are not overweight if you only weigh 115 and you're 5'4" but good luck and I hope you decide to go to the homecoming dance anyways! .:.Macy.:. I would still go. If you want to go on a diet go ahead. try the Atkins it really does work or try and find another dress that you feel confident in. Don't worry your aren't fat at all a lot of girls would kill to be 115 pounds

When I was in high school, I was 5'4 and 115 lbs. I distinctly remember my prom dress being a size 5. I didn't look fat (still don't, and I've gained ~10 pounds since high school) and neither do you. Go to the goddamned dance. You'll look fantastic.

Your friend probally had a different body type then you. I know you were trying to save money, but if you go to the store you can find one that complements your body. In the department stores they have body shapers which I sware by. They are spandex and some have under wire and they work so well! They pull your tummy in and make you look like 10 lbs lighter instantly. After you have a dress, bring it to the mall and try it on with some of these.

the thing is that ur NOT fat!!! my the gurl u tried on dresses with is just more skinny then u...that does not make u fat!! and just because u cant find a dress from ur friend doesnt mean u cant go...if its becuz of money then u can get dresses cheap if u really look...i think u shud def. go!!!go in shorts!!!lol!!! just know that ur not fat and dont worry about other pple...do what makes ya happy!!!!!

Sweetheart...first of all, you're not fat.
I'm 5'3 and I'm 115, and I look skinny, if anything.
Don't not go to the dance because you think you're fat!
Dances are fun! Seriously. Though if you feel that uncomfortable about your body, just cut back on any junk food you eat. Don't cut back on food, exactly. Eat lots of fruits and veggies. They're really good for you.

Honestly, you're not fat. If you're really worried about how you look then just watch your calorie intake and don't eat past 7pm. Also, if you need snacks then snack on fruits and veggies. For exercise, you should go walking everyday for at least 30 minutes. Some other exercises I recommend are leg lifts, arm curls and crunches or situps. For leg lifts, you lay on one side and bring your leg up and down. I recommend starting out with 30 on each leg. For arm curls, if you have weights that will help but you bring your arms down in front of you and keeping your elbows still bring the weights up to your chest. Anyway, I really don't think you need to lose weight but those are some pointers anyway. I hope this helps!

If you are 16 years old and you are 115 pounds, you really aren't fat. Infact, you are right around the average weight of most healthy 16-year-olds (avg weight, 120 lbs.). But if you wish to diet, all there is to it is to eat healthy fruits, vegetables, meats, and if you run everyday for 30 minutes that would be helpful. Cut down on the junk food, and most of all, have confidence in yourself and don't let other people make you think you are fat, because you aren't!

First off if you are 16 and you weight 115 you need to start eating because your under weight plz dont go on a diet i dont want you to become anerexic. And if you go on a diet that is what will surley happen. The way you should look at it is if they dont like you for how you look in a prom dress then screw em! sorry for the language. My suggestion is to get a dress that is skinny and is fit for your weight. But if you decide to go on a diet good luck its your decision and your body. it doesnt seem like you need a diet, you weight is fine but maybe u have some extra stomach flab. to get rid of that do 200 crunches a day and DO NOT eat junky foods or drink soft drinks...by homecoming u will look GREAT

5'4 and 115 lbs is so not fat! I'm 5'4 and wayyy over that weight! Dont go on a diet and go to homecoming!!! If you wanna lose a little bit of weight, eat anything you want but dont eat after 6:00 pm and dont eat snacks just eat your 3 meals..
