13 and having twins
hey i asked the question about being 13 and pregnant well i just found out im having twins!!! my question is wht do they do in a c-section people r tellin me in to tiny and might have to get a c-section, nd i just wanna no like is it more or less painful, and wht do they do! ill rate u, i need advice!! thnx

a c-section is where they cut your stomach open to get the baby (or babies) out. Im not sure as to which is more painful but in my opinion i would say just a regular birth would hurt worse because they have to cut you "down there"...but if your drugged up (which isnt bad because most people are....for pain) then i doubt it hurts at all : hope i helped!

Well your 13.... well i hope you have your mom helping you... Umm.. a C-Section is less painful because they give you a spinal tap and your spine and stomach are numb so you can't feel it but all they do is cut your stomach open (down by your vigina) and pull the twins out. But you might be able to have a regular delivery, because it doesn't matter how tiny you are it is if you dialate right or not. Dialating is when your vigina expanes so the babies can fit through. i truly think you've messed up your life. but then again, we don't know if you willingly had sex, or were raped, or what the conditions were. then again, this isn't our business, that wasn't the question. you're question was what do they do in a c section. well, seeing as i'm an asipring labor and delivery nurse, they take you to an operating room, then they first numb you, good. then they cut your stomach open and take the babies out one at a time. you'll most likely have a scar on your stomach, but, you can't feel pain when they're taking the babies out, just pressure. i'd say c section is less painful, but in most cases you have a vaginal birth. twin usually are c sections.
but hun, if you really are pregnant, with twins, and thirteen, please take a good look at your life, and take good care of those babies. you're only thirteen, and you're just a baby. it's OK to stay a virgin, no one will pressure you into something you don't want to do. i'm sixteen and am still a virgin, theres nothing wrong with it. i have full intent to wait until i'm married to have sex. just.. take care of yourself.

OK: a C-Section is where they make an insicion like on your stomach ( i dont think its always in the shape of a c ) and they pull the babies out. You wont have to go through all the long stages of labor and all the god damn pain. You are like pretty much numbed/out cold when they do it. If you are still curious, watch a baby story on TLC .. they have C-Sections a lot, and they are rele graphic and show like everything. Also, ask your doctor. He/She will tell you everything you need to know. Since you are having twins, you probably will have a C-Section anyways to protect the babies.

All i have to say is that well you shouldnt be doin it at 13 and that you are trying to grow up to fast i mean well when you have fun you have to face the consiquences so well what do you parents think about this

all i can say is im very dissapointed!! ur 13 years old and have already ruined ur life! it's goin to be very hard to complete school and without school u'll have a sucky ass job when ur older and not get paied very well. yes c-sections hurt. they cut u open....

A C-Section is when they make an incision (cut) in the stomach and through the placent so that they can take your baby out that way. There probally doing this for you because since your only 13 your not quite finished with puberty so your vaginal walls cant stretch as much. And in most cases they put you to sleep during a C-section so you wont feel any pain during it at all... but in some cases they leave you awake. But im sure if u asked for it they would knock you out but it may cost more cause then they need to get an Anasteziologist. U may feel discomfort when you wake up tho.

yeah, it will hurt a lot less from what i hear. They numb your stomach and cut it open, and then they basically pull the babies out. Congratulations though. my uncle and aunt had twins and they are sooo cute!!!! lol

While its happening its less painful because they either give you something that will numb you so you don't feel anything or (sometimes your asleep). They cut an incision in you to deliver the babies, and the size will depend on how big the babies are. Afterwards they either stitch it closed or staple it.. it might hurt some after, and most likely you'll be left with a scar (at about your bikini line usually) but you don't really have to go through the pain of labor with those. I am a tiny girl too and C-section's do not hurt very much, first of all they give you a painkiller where on the outside of your stomach and your insides of your stomach you cannot feel anything and what they do is make a incision (the size of the cut is depending on how big you and your babies are) and they take your babies out and then they sew or staple you up and you might be a little soar afterwards but in the longrun you will be happy...lol, if you are wondering how i know this my mom used to work as a nurse :) it is not painful at all! don't worry and good luck to you and your babies...lol

I think they give you a spinal thing, which makes you completely numb in that area. You will feel a little tugging and stuff but it will not hurt. I think it is less painful, you will have a scar afterwards, but if you use mederma after it heals a little, it will clear up a lot. Also, when you are having a c-section they have a curtain thing in front of you, so you will not see yourself being cut unless you look up at the ceiling, where they usually have a mirror. I saw this on the Baby story so I don't know through personal experience but I think it will be less painful. Good luck hunny! I hope everything goes well for you :)

First of all. They cut a small section in your stomache shaped like a "c" Hence the name. They then pull the babies out of this section and sew it back up. Your out cold and wont feel a thing. It might hurt afterwards but youll get numbing crap. Hope I helped!

I'm not caught up on todays procedures. Last I checked, there were certain pain-killers that couldn't be used in fear that it will harm the child. I'm not sure how much you will feel while they preform the incision, but I think the ordeal is more painful than a normal birth. Otherwise why would they ever go through the trouble of a normal birth.
Based on what I've recently heard from my mother, it's less painful due to not having to go through as much labor pains.

Well my mom had a c-section with all three of us, so i guess its not a bad thing, its just less painful but afterwards u will get really sick because of the drugs they give u, at least my mom did, she was really sick, throwing up and all, but i think since u say that ur so small then u should probably go for the c-section and ask them if they can make the scar less visible. oops forgot to tell u what it is. a c-section is when they cut ur lower stomach, like from belly button down a few inches, and remove the babys that way, then they sew u up, so scaring is the only problem that i c with c-sections.

hey if you do get a c-section, its less painful. they cut your low stomach open and just remove the babys like that. after they do that they stich you up and yea..im pretty sure it doesnt hurt you
