do you think that it is weird that a 24 year old guy is dating a 16 yr old girl? i do but i need other opinions, the girl is my best friend and i dont like it. I need help on how i can be more open about the situation. please help!!!

Yes i think it is creapy. This guy could be some pervert or a molester. You should invite your friend over and rent videos of situations like that and the gurl gets kidnapped or something. maybe she'll get the idea.but be careful for what you say because she may get mad at you and never forgive if she is sensitive and maybe hard-headed.

Yea.. I think that is extremely weird. What does a 16 yr old possibly have that a 24 yr old can want... or cant find in someone his own age.. sorry to be bagging on your friend. I hope this guy and your friend know.. that if they are being sexual together and anyone finds out.. he can be arrested for rape.. so... I would tell your friend that.. and I dont think there is anything you can really do to make her change her mind on this. but the best way i can think is to be honest with your friend and tell her how you feel.. well i think that 16 and 24 is quite an age difference, and the girl is consider a minor, and the guy would be an adult so if they do any thing, then the guy could get in trouble. But, if they arent doing anything, then it really isnt a big deal. But also, think about this, as the girl's best friend, you should want her to be happy. Though you can be concerned, but dont try and control her life

Well if she is a good friend then she should listen to u and take ur advice. sit her down and talk to her about it, 8yrs is a big difference when ur 16. Just pray for her and tell her how u feel, and talk to the guy to, and tell him its wrong, she is a minor he cant touch her.

OK! This is not weird... I mean I'm 13 and I like this guy that's 20! Sure he doesn't like me (YET) but I still like him! The point is if they're in love there's nothing you can do about it unless you catch him cheating or something like that...

People say that love has no age, but i think that's all B.S. it's not the end of the world, but i do think it's wrong on the guy's part. I mean, he's 24, that's 8 years older...which means, when he was 16....she was 8 just in second grade. Not only is it weird, but it's illegal. I hope she knows this guy well and she's careful, because some people would call him a pedophile because she's still a minor. Maybe she loves him or just really impressed but what she thinks he is, but i'd be careful.

I think its not weird. I know a lot of people that do that I just cant understand why guys have to go so low as to find someone who isnt legal to drink, buy cigs, buy scratch tickets, or DRIVE. Also guys that are that much older are more experienced with sexual, emotional, physical things. To tell you the honest truth I'm not into that much of an age difference. If it really bothers you, you could always talk to your friend about it. Try to show her that hes so much older and hes more experienced and can pressure her into doing things without her even knowing shes being pressured. Hope I helped!
