Has anyone ever gone on a "water-diet"? nothing but water...ice/water...and then u eat something on the third day...?has anyone gone on this or know if it works??

Of course it works -- if you don't eat, you're going to lose weight. But it's also a great way to get an eating disorder. ]
yea my friend did it once, u loose "some" weight, buti know that it damages ur matabolism if u not carful. if u dont eat then ur metabolisum gets slower and slower and eventually u will gain weight in the long one. if u wanna try it once then thats fine, u will loose weight but i sugest ONLY doing it once!

thats not a very healthy diet, think, water only? your body needs food EVERYDAY. If you're worried about your weight eat healthier and excercise, everyone says this but it works! ]

This is a very dangerous diet. A friend of mine tried it, and she passed out while she was exercizing. Her sister had to call 9-1-1. Her body had gone into shock and her kidneys had completely shut down. The doctor said that if she had been alone when it happened, she would have died. So you definitely shouldn't go on this diet. I'd rather be fat, than dead! ]
The "water-diet" huh? Sounds like a pretty bad diet to go on-think about the food pyramid! Where is the food here? You need proper nutrients for your body---I'm not gonna lie---I'm SURE you would lose a ton of weight on this fad diet, but you will feel like crap. Try eating healthy and cutting out fattening foods...thats the safest most healthy way to lose weight. ]
Sounds like it would probably work, but i wouldnt do it! 1, its gotta be EXTREMLY dangerous. 2, Once you start eating you`re body will store all the food you eat, because it doesnt kno when you`ll givve it more food since you`re starving yourself. and 3, since yournot getting any food, and drinking lots of water it like stores all the water in your stomach, so it puffs out your stomach and makes you look like your fat. Thats why lots of aneorexic ppl you see look like skinand bones, but their stomach like poofs out. ]
why not just go anorexic? i heard it works just like the "water diet".

To be honest with you, I`v been on that kind of diet before, & it does work. BUT it`s super unhealty & when you start to eat again, you gain the weight back up fast & you go right back to where you started from. Try excercising. I know it`s a pain in the ass. ]
i've heard of it, but um...if you really want a diet like that, don't just drink water. I would love to lose weight lol but i enjoy food to much to even consider it. But maybe so you don't endanger your health, you could water and salads...or other not-fattening foods. I don't really know, but you should eat some type of food at least ONCE a day. Please ]
lol no i havnt...but it doesnt really sound lyk a good diet... i mean it would prolly work since ur not eating anything...but you need to eat...instead of water diet heres what you should do...ok...skip breakfast or if your really hungry at breakfast just have a yogurt...and eat lyk fruit or a salad for lunch with lyk ice water..and then for dinner eat what your mom or dad makes...or just eat regular for dinner but nothing to fattening...and then dont eat any snacks after dinner and if you do make sure its not to fattening! lol..try it...it sounds lyk it could work...tell me if you decide to do it.. ]

Well it definatly doesnt sound very healthy! plus I would think you would end up retaining water and gaining weight. Well, water weight. I wouldnt try it if I were you. ]
That honestly is the most ridiculous diet I've ever heard of. Actually I dont really believe in diets. I think that you should just eat healthy and work out. You're trying to lose weight not kill or hurt yourself. EAT CHILD! Food is GREAT!

Generally, not eating any food at all isn't good for you because it will slow down your metabolism... Drinking a lot of water is good for you, and drinking ice cold water actually uses up calories, so if you're trying to diet do drink a lot of cold water... ]
