Sorry this is so long i'll rate 5's. Today during lunch me and my friends jenna and roquel were sitting around talking, and jenna said she hasn't gotten her period in a long time and is worried that she might be pregnant. Jenna thought that i knew about this already, so she was like roquel where did u go to get your abortion?and roquel was like not everyone knows about that jenna. roquel wouldnt tell me that because she was in my law class, and i debated against abortion so she knows how i feel about it. even thought im completely against abortion, i dont judge my friends so thats why i didnt even say anything to her.but now everytime i see her i get sick to my stomach thinking she would actually do something like that.i know its none of my buisiness so dont tell me that, but how do i get over feeling so ashamed of her?its to the point i wanna smack her for being so stupid!because i cant say anything about not having sex, because ive had sex myself but i used the pill AND a condom, so if ppl did that there would only be a 1 percent chance of getting pregnant, so i cant believe she was dumb enough to get herself if that situation where she could get pregnant, knowing her who has done lots of bad stuff, she probably gave in when the guy said he didnt wanna use a condom.i really need advice about what to do, because she is a good friend and i dont wanna lose her as a friend even though i feel so different towards her now.
hey sweetheart--you and i are very similar in our views of abortion. the mere thought of getting one or anyone close to me getting on disgusts me. i think what you need to do is get together face to face with her. Explain to her that you know that she was in a tough situation and that she IS young and maybe having a child wasnt the right thing to do. HOWEVER, that you are very much against abortion and although you do love her a lot and respect her you realize why she did what she did. Explain to her that youre having a hard time realizing why she woul d put herself in the situation to GET pregnant in the first place and that you are even a little upset and even freaked out by the thought of her doing something that you are so against. Tell her that you know that it had nothing to do with you, however that it just upsets you and are having a heard time dealing with it. Let her know that you will try to be there for her as much as you can and that you still want to be her friend but your views are simply different. Im sure she already feels horrible about it. hello. i'm 13 and my parents are divorced. they have been ever sice i was 6 years old. and my dad just remarried a really AWFUL woman! they just had there 1st anniversary. her son is CONSTNTLY making fun of me and my dad just says "deal with it" its taunting a bull at school would do. well to cut to the chase, my mom still had my dads last name and just changed it today. i feel so different now it really makes me sad. i feel like i'm closer to my stepmom than i am her. please help. all answers will be rated a 5 for effort! :`(
A name is just a name. Your mother is your mother. Do you not feel close with her simply because of her last name? You should sit down and talk to your mom and tell her how you feel about everything that is going on. Let her know that your stepbrother really upsets you and that you need some advice on what to do about it since your father isnt helping the situation much. Trust me, I KNOW what its like to have an "evil stepmother". I have one. Can't stand the bitch. Haha! You just have to think, if she makes my father happy then thats all that matters. Just deal with her when you are there and that's all that you can do. As far as your stepbrother goes, talk to your mom about it and then sit down both your father, your stepmother and your stepbrother one night and tell them that you all need to talk. Hey...I did a project my 8th grade year and it went all the way to the state finals at the science fair. It was "How hard would it be to live with thumbs?" We velcroed out thumbs back and did various tasks with and without our thumbs and timed them. We also got other people to do the same thing and timed them. It not only was a fun project but we also learned a lot from it including how much we really do need our thumbs to live. haha. Have them all over for a sleepover or just a night of fun to hang out. Sit them all down and basically tell them about it. Let them know what exactly it is and explain the whole process to them and what happens. Sweetie, sweetie, sweetie...You don't need to just be one "type" of girl. It's so funny but there are times that I go out and I wear sweatpants and a wife beater and look like an absolute bum. Other times I go out and look like this little preppy girl with a turtleneck sleevless shirt and kahki pants and nice brown boots. Then you have the other times that I go out wearing tight jeans and a halter top with huge chunky sandals and my make up all wild. Be yourself. Wear what you feel, day by day. Don't let your friends tell you who to be or what to wear. They should like you for you. Do what you want, make YOURSELF happy. Switch it up if you're not sure what you want to do. My friend is having a birthday/sleepover party this weekend. Problem is..I dont like sleeping over anybody`s house (just a problem I have) I do sometimes though..but i reeally dont like it. Plus, the friends shes inviting are people i dont know at all.Please help, i dont want to go to this party..what should i say to my friend? Hey there. It's not silly at all. Some people just like sleeping at home in their own bed and don't feel comfortable sleeping in other people's house. I had a lot of friends like that in High School. If you're feeling up to it bring a bag with you and leave it in the car or in the hallway. Let your friend know that you just really don't like sleeping places but you'll hang out for a while and see how you feel later. Tell her you still want to stay for a while and have a good time. What should I do about this...me and my boyfriend were talking about college and I got upset that he wasnt goin to be going to the same college as me the first semester, he wants to start the second.So I got upset over it and then he told me to drop him off so I did at like 3ish yesterday. An hour later he shut his phone off and it has been off since. I called his sister who I'm friends with because my boyfriend didnt show up to work today (he works for my dad) and she said he didnt come home last night. She also said that him n his friend went to her work last night but his friend is on vacation 2 hours away. He could of came back to pick him up though. If he went he wont be home untill Sunday. I tried calling his friend and his friend isnt answering his phone. What should I do? I'm so upset that my boyfriend would just go away and not tell em especially when I was so upset. What should I do if I can't get a hold of him? I feel like I'm lost

Wow! I can see how you might be a little hurt by his actions. Don't make yourself look crazy by calling everyone. Simply call his sister once more tomorrow and ask if she has heard from him. Let it go at that. Let him do what he's doing and then deal with him when he calls. Apparently he doesn't respect your feelings enough to tell you what he's doing and thats just not right. Tell him when you talk to him that it doesn't bother you that he went away but it DOES bother you that he up and left without saying anything and then didn't even bother to call you, especially when he KNEW you were upset. See what he says and take action from there. Don't let yourself get upset about it. From the sounds of it, he HAS to have a good reason for doing what he did. Otherwise, he's a J-E-R-K! Haha! I have a "boyfriend" we met on the internet. At first all we did was talk on the internet. Ok...I'm not quite sure that I would call this guy your "boyfriend". I mean maybe someone that you are "talking" to, but not someone that you are seriously dating. Shouldn't be that hard to break up with him since you've never actually met him yet, but I DO understand how feelings could be caught. Just let him know that you are kind of having second thoughts about the situation and that you'd honestly, meet and see how things go from there. All guys are different. Appearance in a "fair" world shouldn't matter, but obviously it is the first thing that attracts someone to another. It's basically the same as girls look for sweetie, someone who is fun to be around, someone who makes you laugh, someone who is there for you to not only be your gf/bf but also your friend. Lookwise, everyone differs. Some guys like short, some like tall, others like brunettes, some like blondes. All preferences are different. Just be YOURSELF. Guys should like you for you. What is the difference between crunches and sit-ups? Also...About how many crunches or sit-ups should you do daily to lose some extra belly fat and start to shape a 6-pack..? Are crunches or sit-ups better for you? How long will it take to lose a few pounds/and or start to shape a 6-pack? Thanks!
Hey! Ok so you actually just made me think about this one! HaHa! I believe there is a slight difference in sit-ups and crunches. In sit ups your whole torso comes up to your knees and in crunches you simply raise your head and torso so that you can basically "contract" your stomach up and down. I do about 200 sit-ups a day. Usually some in the morning and then about 100-150 at night before I go to bed. You have to do it consecutively for a few months before you start to notice a change. Eating healthy goods and cutting out excessive junk food also helps a lot in the process of getting a 6-pack. Good Luck. *Melissa*
ok well yeaterday at about like 2a.m. I went driving in town with my cuzine and her older bro (he's only 17) he drove us around and well he was smoking pot in the car so I got totally nervous and I didn't know what to do so I just staid in the car worring my butt off and when I got home at around 10 my dad smelt the pot and asked me if I smoked but I didn't pin it on my cuz did I do the right thing? Honestly, you shouldn't be put in that situation if you aren't comfortable with it. During your High School Years you are going to come across TONS people woh are experimenting with new drugs and often its either pot or alcohol. If you don't like the situation, don't let yourself be put in the middle of it. Confront your brother about how your dad asked you about it and tell him that you're not getting in trouble for him being stupid and careless. If you still don't feel comfortable sit down and talk to your father and let him know what the situation is. It will save yourself but it might hurt your brother. High School is perfect time to meet new people and find more friends. Take the time away from your other friends to meet new people in classes and in the hallway. You can always see your other friends after school and on the weekends. As far as a relationship and boyfriend goes, take your time. Silence is golden. Try not talking on the phone as much. You two obviously already know a lot about eachother, therefore you feel like theres not a lot to talk about. Try to cut back on talking on the phone. When you 2 hang out and watch movies the coversation will be natural and even if not, pop in a movie to get rid of the silence. I'm going into my senior year of high school and I have or will be taking all the required classes in order to graduate. I was wondering most college say you need 3 years of science I've taken two and then I've taken 3 year of History will that 3rd year of History make-up for me missing that 3rd year of Science. Hey! In High School I only took Biology and Chemistry. I didn't take any other sciences. I took 3 years of History also. When I got to college and I took my placement test I had to take a college level math class, a LAB science class, and often in most majors you need 2 college level histories.
