collared shirts!

Question Posted Friday August 20 2004, 5:08 pm

hey! well me and my friend are wondering if collared shirts are in style. Alot of our friends dress a little less conservative then we do, and they think that collared shirts are preppy. Even if u unbutton them and wear them with cute low rise jeans, is that still too preppy? or should we try a differnt outfit?. thanx

Do you want to be preppy with them? If you want to dress them down wear them over a t-shirt OR wear a t-shirt over the collared shirt. It's a little odd at first but it looks really cool.

Yes collared shirts are very in style. Yes, that outfir it exactly what a "prep" would wear. why does it matter though? Wear what you like. Stop trying to be something you're not.

Hey darling. I LOVE collared shirts. I hate the use of the word "preppy". It's like labeling a group of people. Ugh..haha..anyways. I always weared collared shirts and I honestly think that they look very nice on anyone who wears them. Personally, I think that they are in style. Keep wearing them. I'm sure they look awesome. *melissa*

Wear w/e you want to wear. It really DOES NOT matter what they think. Especially if theyre ur friends..they shuld respect ure style and ure clothes. Wear what u feel good in.!!..

Hey, I'm a prep and I like collared shirts. I unbutton them a little bit and wear a tank top underneath with cute low rise jeans. Just wear what you wanna wear even if it's not in anymore. Hope I helped :)
