Why is sex such a big thing now? I mean young people are even doing this, I just don't get it. What happened to waiting until marriage?

every year the agw for having sex is younger and younger. no body waits untilmarraige anymore, wlel no i shouldnt say anyone, but most people. its not a big thing now. its more of somehting that people can say theve dont and talk about it to other people. Start getting it and cope with it. it'll be this way from now on.

I wonder the same thing! the world has changed a lot! now i don't realli believe in waiting until you married cause you can fall in love at any age! its just a matter of how mature you are and when you are readi to give up your virginity! i dont encourage you or anyone else to give up your virginty at a young age..wait until your AT LEAST 15..and make sure your realli in LOVE! and i'm not even saying 15 is a good age..just wait until you are mature and readi to do it! oh yea and make sure you have been with your partner for a realli long time before you make a decision and make sure they aren't only going out with you for sex! just stay safe in any choices you make and that was a great question! =)

Well, the 70's happened. MTV happened. All the time, through commercials, tv shows, movies, and radio, kids are being bombarded with sex. Take a look at the magazines. They make people think that sex is the only important thing on the planet- even the women's lib type magazines, actually, especially those. I mean, I'm all for women's lib but sex isn't the only liberating thing there is for a woman. Sex, nowadays is hype. The media took it and put it under a microscope and made everyone freak out about it and all the kids with no self-worth or respect took it all in as fact and thought it made them cool. It doesn't, but it's hard to clue people in on that. A lot of religious people keep saying all this stuff about their faith in God and then turn around and say if you love them go ahead and do it. Hello! That's hypocrisy! Now we need to have organizations like True Love Waits instead of people just deciding not to. I think, for the benifit of everyone, the waiting till marriage thing is a good idea. However, I know the world's circumstances are only going to get worse.

i have no idea but i think that its hella bad, i mean kids in 7th and 8th grade are having sex! i would strongly suggest to save yourself the one God has saved you for, not just for sum puppy dog love you think is real.

People are doing it at a young age and my best friend is 14 and has sex already too but is in a serious realtionship..i still think it is rong doing it soo early but if u truly love some 1 n it feels rite go ahead. But if u want to wait..hopefully ur boyfriend will respect ur decision and not pressure you to do anything!! xoxo hope i helped

People are under the impression they are in love at 13 when they indeed are not. Marriage means so much less now than what it used to. Half of all marriages end in divorce anyway. People get married for a lot of reasons besides they love each other these days. As we get older,it'll only get worse.

It isn't really a big thing. Everyone just has this mindset that it is, just because of the pressures around us, which are normally the cause of young people having sex. It really isn't that hard to not do it. Its called self control.. And everyone has it, people just ignore it sometimes, usually when they probably shouldn't. Waiting until marriage is a good moral to have, and it would be better if more people had it. No one should ever let the pressure of people around them encourage them do do something that is best waited for. Hope I helped. *Amber*

I honestly think people are just wanting to grow up way too quickly so they go for the obvious, sex appeal and sex. I believe in waiting for mairrage because if a guy really loves you he will love you for the person you are and wait until mairrage.

well its all about what u see around u teens these days are gettin bad influences, from videos on tv even form the way there parents act. Its mostly videos on like to v n music thats all they talk about and when the person gets hooked to that song or video they think its koo to do those things. $M$
