chances are you WONT experience SHC. I leave my house everyday and nothing happens. You'll be okay. i promise. ]
No. That can't happen. I know you've probably heard it can...but no, can't. ]
Silly- most spontaneous combustions happen in the home. REALLY. Get out and enjoy life! ]
Don't worry about it. SHC is not real, just another of those urban legends. When I was younger, like 10 or 11, I wouldn't be able to sleep because I feared I would combust. It hasn't hapenned, and it never will. All those pictures they show on TV are digitally-made. They aren't real. But you should see a psychologist to get over your phobia. Take care, dear.

No. This may be simply an irrational fear, those are very hard to get over. But this might also be the result of a child hood traumer. I suggest talking to some fort of proffesional and getting help. I belive you can make home apointments with some.

As always, feel free to contact me if you need to talk. ]
no. and guess what? you can spontaniousley combust from INSIDE you house too!!! muahaha. *thank you for your time*~luckiedice~ ]
If this is real: No, it's not. Talk to someone, like a psychiatrist, or a family member.
If this is not real: yes, and we are all out to get you. ;) ]
No, you should really be afraid to leave because of the hedgehogs. Never trust a hedgehog. Especially never trust the blue ones.) ]
Well, no, it's not. But then again, most phobias aren't. What's interesting is the fact that you feel this will take place upon leaving your home. This suggests that it may NOT be a fear of spontaneous combustion, but rather an acute form of heliophobia, which is the fear of the sun. I'd like to be able to discuss this in depth to get a better understanding of your fear and thgen I could be in a better position to assist you. ]
Yeah, people are afraid of everything. Some people are afraid of their own shadow for christ sakes. Tell your parents to let you go see a Psychiatrist, so you can get doped on meds and never be yourself ever again. Have fun, and don't explode. ]
I must admit I haven't seen anyone suddenly start spontaneously combusting in the middle of the street...or in building either for that matter... ]
... no. No it's not. Because you can spontaneously combust in your house too. ]
Has anybody ever told you that spontaneous combustion is just as likely to happen in your house as outside of your house? Go out and live your life. If you're going to spontaneously combust, you'll do it wherever you are. Being curled up in a ball in your bathtub won't do anybody any good, and it won't cure your fear either. ]
Not exactly, but I guess it depends on your definition of normal in the first place. In my opinion, you need to do some serious research. Catching on fire really isn't that bad in broad daylight with plenty of space around you. I mean, people set things on fire all the time that come out looking even better than they did before! Overcome your fear and set yourself free, my friend. You won't regret it. ]
