So I got offered this easy babysitting job from a rich family down the street, and they are going to pay me 50 dollars an hour, BUT at the same time my BFFs birthday party is going on. She said it was OK if i went to go babysit.i don't want her to think i don't care but I really need the money!!!!!!!!!!!

hi...sorry if this is long.
well ages ago i met a guy and fell instantly in love with him. he liked me 2 but i didnt have the courage to tell me and now hes moved on. were like best friends now; we bonded alot when i was living back at home in america. i never got on with my mom and he understood that an kinda helped me through it.
my mom hated me a lot and blamed me for her and my dads divorce. we argued too much and she was always tellin me she wishes i was dead. this guy, lets call him adrian, helped me thru it and always made me feel lots better.

ok there is this guy i really like and apparently he likes me too but he wont go out with me because he doesnt like my friends..... i dont know what to do because i cant get over him but at the same time i wouldnt be able to hang out with him and my friends at the together

well this might be kinda long cause it needs a lot of explaining so im sorry but here goes...
i met a guy a long time ago and he was like...head over heals for me...at the time i didnt like him so i brushed him off, telling him i was interested in another guy.
it was only a bit ago that i realised how much he really did like me - he remembered everything and was so nice and kind and always there for me - an ive realised how much i appreciate that. he has now moved on and likes other people and i think i have feelings for him. now were like best friends and i cant tell him coz i dont wanna ruin things.
do you guys think that i 'like' him because i feel like ive missed my chance, because i cant have him or somet...

i have a friend who used to be very down to earth and friends with everyone. now she is "popular". Just because of that, she thinks she is better than everyone else, and everyone agrees. she is snobby too, like saying stuff like "omg i hate fat people, old people, smelly people, and people that dont like me." the problem is, i love being friends with her!! she is so much fun to hang out with when there are not other people there. with other people, she seems to think she needs to act like that. when i ask her why she is so mean to me, she says "you are mean to me because you think you are so much better!!!" what should i do?!?!

I went through a devorce sometime ago and I have been paying child support I just recently found that my exwife got marred I have two children and they are 15 , do to the marrage am I still responsible for the child support , or do I get a brake in how much I pay now that she is marred

OK, I have been on Weight Watchers and I got down to 125 pounds. Well, on Sunday I splurged a bit because I went to the city and I had chinese food and today I went over my points a bit and had a grilled cheese sandwich..alright, well...now I'm 130 pounds. What's up with THIS?! how can i magically gain 5 pounds in 3 days. Is this just a trick of the scale?

Guitar amps

so I was thinking that it might be nice to have a better amp than my current one. I really need it to be versatile - able to use it for bass and 6-string. I'm wondering if I'd be better off looking at used head/cabinet systems, or if I sould look at small, portable new units, like a Hartke. I'll rate 7s for all answers.

how to overcome shyness

hey i'm in college and i'm really shy. i can't seem to make friends with anyone in class. i have friends in my dorm and im comfortable with them, but i see people in my class that i would want to be friends with, but i can't seem to get myself to talk to anyone. i like crawl inside myself and no matter what i can't say anything. especially to guys (im female). i've been trying real hard to open up, but i just can't seem to do that. any advice on how to start opening up and becoming more comfortable with myself and be able to talk to people without being scared that they won't like me? i know im in college and shoud be over that already, and i am for the most part, its just when im surrounded by people i dont know it makes it really hard. thanks in advance to anyone who answers this
