I have been off and on with this girl named Lindsey for about a year we really loved eachtoiher but me being a guiy screwed everything up.I broke up with her because she likes another guy i still love her but her and this guy may go out i dont know what to really do i love her and she doesnt know if she loves me or not help me

I was looking through my closet just to check on my dress that I'm gonna wear tonight to a party, and when I tried it on, I realised it had this pretty big and noticable tear right on the butt! and i dont know what to do! i dont have any other dress options in my closet, i can't leave the house to buy another one, and i absolutely canNOT wear this torn dress! what should i do? because i would rather skip the party than feel totally self-consious....HELP PLZ! ALL 5'S FOR GOOD ADVICE!

my boyfriend said something really mean to me about the way i look earlier today on the phone. i hung up on him and he keeps calling back and i wont answer. he left a message saying "if you ever stop being mad at me call me, ill understand if you dont though" i want to call him back...what should i say?

i really dont know what to do...i hate my stepdad i just cannot stand him his such an asshole..and i told me mom and she knows i hate him..and when his friends are over he acts like hes all bad and shit..hes nuthin, and he told me today when its rainin and thundering outside to go and mow the yard...my mom argues with him all the time because hes a lil selfish bitch and he does nuthin for other people...he thinks he gots it all good cause he doesnt have to pay for the house cause my real dad does...i have a choice of moving to my dads house but i dont want to break my moms heart...what should i do?i have really thought about killing him...lol..i mean ill come home with really nice clothes and he'll be like wheres mine..i mean he trys to jok...

I'm taking the advice of those who answered my last question; I went through alot of stress dealing with problems wth one guy and a relationship that was almost official but flopped over and blew up in my face. Besides I'd like to have a boy friend.
Thing is there aren't lots of choices. I don't like asking guys straight up front to be with me, I'd rather pull them on gradually. Is this the right way to do it? And is it better to seek someone in your own social group, people you all ready know? I don't like any one romantically right now, but what kind of traits make a guy dateable, and how can you tell he might be made to like you over time?

Alright, I moved to this town 3 years ago.. and before i moved her. My bestfriend had just broken up with her bf [Ian] of 4 years, and the next day he started going out with her cousin for 2. I secretly liked him but kept in a secret because i didnt wanna ruin there relationship, but the summer before 9th grade they broke up. I KNEW THIS WAS MY CHANCE. So we started talking alot more, and i slept over his house.. like twice. & we started going to party's together, and basketball games. We were in love & everything was great, untill about 6 months had gone by and i felt like we were never going to go out. so i started talking to a new boy, we went out for like a month and broke up because he told everyone i was just a booty call. hi, ive got a french oral exam on tues and i havent hardly learnt any of it, we have to learn our presentatation about anything ( mines half a page long) the questions to go with it (5-6 questions), topic one and topic two which is like 13-15 questions. im getting really stressed out cos, ive got no time to revise.

sorry i didnt no what this went under, so i put it under friendship.
anyways, im going to my friends sleepover tonight and if i stay up most of the night/all night then i get a headache, but the thing is, i think everyone is going 2 stay up all night and i dont want to be the only one asleep, while everone is having fun.
has anyone got anything i could do to help me not get headaches??

I used to have a lisp. When I was in third grade, my mom asked my teacher about it, and he said it wasn't a problem. Well, it's a problem now. I constantly get made fun of. Yesterday was the worst. This kid kept on making fun of me in art class when I was on the computer. I finally just got up and left the room, while the teacher was yelling at him. I have two questions.. Is that harassment? How can I get rid of my lisp? My mom says she doesn't even notice it anymore, but it's obviously still a problem.

There's a 'rock event' (like a disco but with rock music) that goes on in my town every month or so, and most of my mates go to it. Out of the seven of us, five go (I don't). This place has a really bad rep. and most people who go there drink, smoke and do drugs, but of course my friends parents have NO IDEA about this. All of my five friends who go have gotten into smoking, and two of them are serious binge drinkers. One guy I know but am not great friends with also goes to this place and has gotten into illegal drugs, as has one girl I was kinda 'hi in the hallway' friends with, and she got expelled and charged by the police for it. Now my problem is, I will NOT stand by and watch my friends slowly kill themselves with a load of alcohol, ...
