Well, first off, I think you're doing it for a great cause. I did a fundraiser for Cancer Awareness as well about two years ago. I made bracelets. Just take some yarn and decorate them. They were a hit. ]
A few ideas:
- Ask people to donate for a garage sale or used book sale
- Make jewelry
- If you're good at cooking, host a nice dinner where you have to donate a minimum of five bucks to get in
- Make decoupage boxes
- Buy some plain picture frames at Walmart and paint them
Whatever you decide to do, put up a big sign saying "all proceeds go to american cancer society". It may make someone want to buy more.
Good luck! ]
Maybe you should have a car wash or sell lemonade. Just make sure that whatever you sell, that the people know what cause it is going to. Because if people think you are just going to keep the money they might not be so generous. ]
The livestrong bands are really popular. Sell some kind of bracelt. Bracelts are one of the best ways to fundraise for a disease. Also try a bake sale. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck ]
Okay what me and my church did was called a "Slave auction". We would tell the audience what a certain person could do like "Sally likes to babysit, clean, and she will work really hard for you". Then the auction would start, the lowest we got was $30 and the highest about $85. In the end, with about 15 youth we made 2,000+ I suggest doing this with people you know and trust..not to anyone. Oh and the "slaves" go work for the people that bought them for 3-6 hours. We also did a bakesale/auction at our church which was pretty cool...just make brownies cookies cakes, sweets like that..and be creative with your cstuff to get more money from it! And our good one was a PUDDING TOSS. Okay well all the people that are willing to have pudding thrown at them line up somewhere. (Make sure to have like newspapers or something big enough so theres not a big mess. Then, sell pudding cups for about $1 or $2 and then the people get to throw spoonfulls of pudding at you. Thats the main idea, you can make it a little more funner or change it around a bit. We made about $250 not as big as the other ones, but! You can make it big with having a lot of people to come. Good luck with the fudraising! ]
get those awarnes bracelets or have a bowl-a-thon ]
you could have a car wash, like a chinese oction because some places (like stores) will donate stuff for it,um. well tho's r the only 2 i can think of right now.if i think of anything else i'll write to ya.! ]
You can do a lot of things to raise money. Round up people and have a bake sale. A few people can make brownies, other people can make cookies, and the rest can make cupcakes or what ever. You can have a town car wash; since it's winter, a lot of people's cars are really dirty so this would be a great way to make money. You can sell jewelry and such such as bracelets, necklaces, etc. that are home made. You can sell t-shirts that have to do with the American Cancer Society and such. At my school, we had a fundraiser for the Tsunami disaster and each class collected spare change and our school made over $6,000.00. You can also sell candles too. Just think of simple things like that and that will help you raise money.

well selling like food or snacks at a big get together like at skool and stuff, where the parents and kids will beable to buy stuff. and another thing is would could be like those santas and walk around saying its for the A.C.S. but u need sumthing or sumone to prove that your not lieing. ]
There are lots of things you could do. You could try organizing a variety show. Have people preform on stage. Of course people would have to pay to see the show. Post a sign outside of the show saying all money will go to a charity. You could have a bake sale. America loves sweets. You'd make good money off of that. A yard sale even. Have you and some friends and family round up things they don't need much anymore and have a yard sale. You could have a hotdog and soda stan also at this yard sale. Are you in school? If so, you could notify your principal and they could make an annoucement and the whole school could participate and the raising of money for this society. Good luck. ]
hey..one time i raised money for the national brain tumor society..by making hemp jewlery and selling it..it was a big hit! So maybe you could make a craft..people love when you make it yourself. You could make like..magnets, pictureframes, candles, jewlery, cookies/cupcakes..pins, keychains..Hope this helped, and good luck with your fundraiser! ]
