Winter Exercise

In the winter i kind of lose all my motivation to exercise, which is ALWAYS a huge problem. I mean its not like i don't do anything. I have 1 hour of field hockey, 4 hours of dance, and gym (if you count that) every day a week. But i dont get much cardio. I am a 14 year old female and I'm 4'11" 98 lbs.

Yeah I'm tiny, but I have a nasty tummy. It just ruins the image of a cute little petite girl! What can I go to get some cardio exercise in and keep my tummy toned up?!!

how do i get the motivation to firm up my body. i am very busy adn jsut had heart surgery. so it has to be quick easy adn fun... a work out that takes 15 min a few times a week in a small space... i dont need to loose weight i weigh only 110 adn i'm 5'3" so i'm just fine, but since my health issues ive lost my tone can anyone help

Weight loss.

Okay, since I was 4 I've been chubby. I never exercised (My mum feared I'd get hurt) and I always ate junk food because my Dad doesn't know how to cook and my Mum was pretty lazy. I'm not HUGE, actually for my lifestyle choices all my life I think I've been pretty lucky. You seriously don't know how bad it was.

Anyway my question is: Do you think I'd be able to lose weight. I'm not expecting to drop the weight in weeks or even months. I'm looking at a long term thing. I've always been chubby so do you think it's possible? I'm 15/f by the way.

My plan is: Drink nothing but water, go for a 20-30 minute walk everyday (I live in a real hilly area so that's good) and eat really healthy foods and never eat junk food....

Substitute coffee for tea?

In the book "Why french women don't get fat" it says to drink coffee after meals because it helps digest the meal better.

However I don't like coffee much, so I was wondering do you think tea would do the same thing? I know it's healthier for you but I'm not sure whether it would help disgest the food though.

hi, i'm a 15 year old 5'4 135lbs female.
i'm not too much over weight, but i have big hips and cottage cheese thighs and a stomach. i also have big lovehandles and even more fat folds but i'm not that fat i dont know whats wrong, i know my body type runs in the family on my mothers side for all women, but i cant figure out how to make it go away. i really want to start going to a gym, but i'm too young to have a membership of my own at my mothers gym, (or even a guest pass). this really makes me mad, and i want to go to somewhere like 24 hour fitness, or total fitness. my best friend is much bigger than i am, but shes also taller and weighs more, but she has a membership to 24hour fitness with her mom. i had a thought that if i can ...

Taebo amped comes with like 4 different dvds to workout to and this weight called an amplifier. i was thinking about buying it, has anybody used it? does it show good results? if so, how long did it take ti see the results? thnx in advance to whoever can help me :]!

can anyone give me ideas on some yoga or anything that can calm my nerves? i dont have time to go to a gym or class so i just need some simple excercises that i can do before i go to bed or something that will calm me down (i dont fall asleep fast) and also something that will keep me awake during school..something that will teach me flexibility to.

weight losss.

im 14 years old, f. and i weigh 155lbs.
i was wondering if this would work, if i eat like 200calories for breakfast, 100calories for lunch, then go to the gym, and burn like 500-800 calories, then go eat dinner,.
would i lose weight that way, i really need to lose it quickly, and i want to keep it off, and if this isint going to keep it off then i don't want to do it.
but i want to lose about 3-4 lbs a week, if possible.

So I'm 15 years old, 5'1", 114 lbs. I have extra on my stomach and thighs and I guess top arms. I'm gonna eat healthier and try to lose it. But, I'm a 34B. My boobs are already small enough.. I don't want to lose anymore. And I don't wanna lose any in my butt. Ha I don't like people with flat butts. Okay anyway. How can I lose stomach,thighs,arms but keep butt,boobs?

No eating before exercising??

I know that you're supposed to wait for your meal to digest before you begin exercising. But how long should you really wait? I know that it is recommended that you do not eat for at least 2 hours before yoga, for example...but I think that the time should vary by type of exercise.
I'm just curious.. I do two types of exercise the most: yoga/pillates, and cycling (moderate bike riding along the beach for around 2-3 hours every other week or so).
As an estimate, how long should you wait after eating, before starting exercise? It would be helpful if you mentioned the type of exercise (e.g, moderate, strenuous, etc.), and the digestion time for each.

Actual weight loss

H'okay. I'm 20 years old, and I'm a girl.
I'm in really good shape - I can run for an hour straight, I can bike 8 miles (outdoors, not stationary bike), and I work out 3-4 times a week, sometimes 5 or 6 if I have time and can make myself walk to the gym in the cold, lol.
I eat well, protein, veggies, fruit, barely any refined sugar, minimal complex carbs...
Oh yeah. I'm 5'4", and I weigh about 125.
I'm aware that I have a LOT of muscle mass - my legs are pretty much rock hard, I have more bicep and ab definition than some of my guyfriends, and I'm actually doing a fat-cutting routine that seems to be working, kind of.
Thing is, I can't seem to drop below 120. Last time I weighed less than that was t...

Too many calories?

Ok well I'm 17 years old. I'm 5'8 and weigh about 132 pounds. I work in retail (so im always walking around) about 3 days a week and about 4 days a week i go to the gym. I eat about 1000 calories a day (max). If I want to lose weight, am i eating too much? and what else can i do to lose weight?

Way too big

Okay, so I think my vagina is too big. Or I have too much fat on it, whatever. I'm really self conscious about it because it bothers me a lot. If I lay down flat, it sticks up through my pants and I'm afraid someone will notice. I don't find it attractive. Please, don't tell me to accept me for who I am because I'm a very confident person but my vagina I think is too big. Are there exercises I can do everyday to help get rid of some of that fat on it? I see all my friends in the locker room and in their underwear their vaginas are all like, flat, but mine sticks out and it's just too big. What can I do?? I'm not interested in creams or surgery, but exercises/foods would really help me out. Please help, I'm really self conscious about this.

im 13, female. and i have a few extra " fat " on my thys, and my sthomach, and i dont really like it. my mom says that its not fat, its just muscle that needs to be toned. i dont know how many calories i have a day. um...i usually dont eat breakfast, i eat lunch, usually a mustard and cheese sandwich on weat, chips, a soda, and thats about it for lunch, and my grandma just cooks full meals for dinner. i drink about...maybe....5 or 6 cokes a day. im 5'4".i had a BMI at school, and they said that i was 117. my mom dosent belive it though cause they always say that im over weight. i dont exercise, although, every night, i go out and take a walk. thats really the only exercise that i get. i spend alot of my free time on the compu...

My winter break is in a month and a half (January 21st) and i was wondering if anybody had any ideas on how to get toned. Im not concerned about losing pounds, because i like my built but i just want to look more toned. (Especially my thighs and underarms. )
