Guy gave me expensive gift......

If a guy that you are just friends with starts giving you expensive gifts for no reason at all does it usually mean that he likes you as more than a friend and is hoping to advance the friendship into something more?
I'm asking because a guy that I'm just friends with gave me a computer and a desk. It wasnt my birthday or an early Xmas gift, and I never asked for one, he willingly gave it to me. He probably could have sold it for a couple hundred dollars but gave it to me for free.
Is this a tactic guys use to get girls to like them?

Okay, any time I'm around a guy I like, I either:
1) Blush really, really bad.
OR
2) Act stupid, maybe even mean (to him), because I'm nervous.
Since I really don't want this guy to think I'm crazy, is there anything I can do to make me less nervous? Thanks!

Well, I recently wrote about a guy friend of mine.. and how I really love him.
Well, today.. I found out that he is now going out with his ex-girlfriend again. The one who kept ME from dating him.. because I'm a better friend than that. And now.. she proceeds to tell me that he PROPOSED TO HER.. I think she is just saying it because she knows that I have a 'thing' for him.. (keep in mind.. this is the 4th time she's told me that a guy has proposed to her) And she knows I have guy problems.. (with my ex and all)
What can I do to keep me from ringing her neck?

Seriously wanting to loose some LBS!

I am 5'1" & I weigh around 139 to 143 lbs. I am not happy with this at all..I am a lil pudgy around the middle and want to loose this! I have tried and tried with the crunches everynight but that hasn't seem to help so now I am at a loss of what to do next! =[ One of my friends can loose 10 lbs in a week by just drinking water...maybe I can try this! If you have any suggestions then PLEASE let me know ASAP!!

im am 13 i havent gotten im period and im afraid it will happen at the most embarrassing time like in class or something. i went to the doctor and she said that she etimated it would happen when im 17 but im scared that it will start and i wont knwo and ill be really embarrased :-(

ok so this might sound gross but i have had my period for like 2 years now and i am 13 and so well always after my period the WHOLE month till it starts again i have to wear a thick panty liner cause it all comes out like the goop does. the white goop. it dosnt smell or anything though please help i rate high

hey, i'm having a TON of trouble finding radiohead video codes for my myspace. I want either Where I End And You Begin or Like Spinning Plates. Every site has some interview of them, or creep and a couple have there there. I'm not even sure if they made videos out of the ones i want. Does anyone know if they made videos? If they didn't, can you tell me one of those sites that has the music and no video? Also, does anyone know any sites where you can get other radiohead videos besides creep and there there?

What is fasting all about, and how's it done?
I know loads of girls at school that are talking about fasts all the time (not that I'm thinking of starving myself or anything for the sake of being thin, I'm just curious)
I heard my friend tell her cousin she was gonna do a 5 day fast and her cousin asked her how she lasted so long on a fast so I'm guessing it's got to do with not eating.

so prom is in may but I've found my dress already. One problem... I can't find the shoes I really want..I know they are out there but I just havent found them .. mean she tells me she loves me all the time and all but when we got together we always spent time together and all but now we dont we used to talk on the phone for hours but now we might talk on the phone 5 mins and she says she will call me back in a min but she never does and she basically lives with me shes never stayed away from home but she stayed wit me for 2 months now and she say she misses her family but ive told her to go stay at home and she stays anyway but she makes excuses to get a way from me and when i call her phone she tells me her phone bill is real high bu tshe talks to other dudes for along time and she goes to another room to talk to them she wont talk to them in front of me what should i do

There are a lot of really ugly girls at my school (( not to be mean to them becasue I think I'm ugly too )) that get really hott boyfriends, and some of them are juniors and seniors.
