I've been there too man, it sucks. You just gotta step out and leave it up to your friend. Realize that you've got more pride than to try to steal a girl from your best friend. Just find yourself another lady, and if you really want to, you can just wait and see if your friend messes up, then you can move in.

The best thing is to ask her wo she likes and when she picks thats it. If she chooses your friend then wait and see how that works out. You may have a chance too but i would try to find someone else in the meantime. Actaully the best advice would be not to do anything. If you and friend are fighting over this girl you may end up getting into a huge fight and not be friends anymore. It has happened to me before.
