hair styles for dance

OK so on saturday is this semi-formal dance at my school and i dont know what to do with my hair. It's about 2 inches beyond the shoulder, really thick and reallyyyyyy frizzy. I could straighten it, but its gonna be hot in the gym so it wont stay. I can jut put it up into a pony or bun. But if i get it done it has to be something wickedddd simple because it's not like fancy. I have noooo clue what to do, and suggestions on how i should have my hair would be AWESOME<3

Boob Sucker?!?!

My friend is a little obsessed with growing her breasts. Maybe I'm a tiny obsessed too. Someone told her about that "Brava system" where the plastic container SUCKS your boobs so they stretch and grow. She was convinced right away and thinks using a vacuum cleaner tube will do the same. I don't know about this though. I was wonder what you guys at Advicenators thought about this. Would it work? Could it hurt her? I rate.

My best friend was a backstabber to my other best friend

Superbowl sunday, my two best friends were at the same party as their crush. They both like the same guy and he doesn't have a good reputation for relationships. (He's made out with girls behind his ex girlfriend's back.) He started making a move on one of my best friends and next thing you know they are making out with each other. My other friend got completely ticked and jealous and afterwards was in tears. Then, afterwards, I went and yelled and lectured at the friend who made out with him and later, she started crying. Now they aren't talking to each other and I'm not choosing sides! They are both very stubborn. What to do?

valentines day gift

I have been seeing my boyfriend for 4 months, yet we basically live together already since he sleeps over my house 6 out of 7 nights a week. We are completely in love and I couldn't be happier. I need some ideas on what to get him for Valentine's Day because I am clueless. I am horrible at getting guy's presents because they are so difficult!!(...and they say that about us, huh?). Anyhow, when I asked him what he wanted, he said to get him whatever I want...whatever I think he'll like...Please give me some ideas!!!

magazine for my valentine

I (19/f) got my boyfriend a subscription for Sports Illustrated as a Valentine's day gift. I wanted to be creative and get him something that he'd actually like. He's not into the typical stuff. The problem is that he won't actually get the first magazine until the end of February or the beginning of March. I made it so that he will get an e-mail from magazines.com telling him about it on Valentine's day and he'll get a card in the mail doing the same sometime around Valentine's day. So, all he's getting on Valentine's day itself is the e-mail. I'm planning on making him a card, but should I get him something else to give to him on the day? If he got me a bunch of stuff (I have the feeling he's going to go all out) I'd feel kinda bad. Plus,...

My mom won't let me wear thongs.

I am 14 and my mom won't let me wear thongs. My sister is 16 and still is not allowed to wear them. Alot of my firends wear them and some don't. Sure part of the reason I want them is because alot of people wear them but that not the whole reason. I don't want panty lines when I wear sweats of whatever. My mom has always been overprotected, she didn't let me or my sister wear a bikni until last summer. Last weekend I tried on a really cute bathing suit and all she did was say how it was to low and I need to wear something more modest or I will be sending the wronge message. After 3 years of dating my true love, she decided we needed some time apart to get our priorities straight. its going on 3 weeks, and not a day goes by without her calling me, we hang out from time to time, however, there is ovbiously no intimacy. I love her so much and I know she loves me cause she has told me. My question is, with valentines day comming up, iam not sure if i should get her the flowers and a present...I dont wanna look like im trying to push her into getting back with me, and at the same time i dont wanna look like i dont care about her if i dont give her anything...what should i do?

I just got a membership to a gym and will be starting on Tuesday. I've never tried to lose weight by going to the gym but I am trying to lose at least 30 pounds before June. Any ideas on how to approach this?? Any ideas on how to work out at the gym since I'm new to this whole thing?

Okay this is going to be really long..so i have been on and off with my first love from 7th grade im now in 10th..but last summer i moved on and met my 2nd love which i really did love and wanna be with.we were together everyday nothing came in the middle of us..then my dad past away and my first love came back into my life because my family went threw alot when i was with him and he knew my dad unlike my 2 love..so i went to my first love for some help and understanding..my 2 love went outta town the night i found out..my first night didnt leave my side and was there with me for the next few days til i left and went out of town..while outta town both of them would text me sweet things..but i would only talk to my 2 love on the phone at nig...

i've looked on google under HIV and AIDS and i'm still a bit baffled at what really causes it. the sites i've been to only state that you get the virus from an already infected person through sex, sharing needles, or sleeping around.
my question is, how does one get infected in the first place? is it the mixing of body fluids in the bloodstream that causes it (i.e. anal sex, sharing needles/razors, etc)? could it possibly be led on from other stds? what is the real cause?

i'm a girl, and i'm 16 and i never used to masturbate but i recently discovered it.
however i feel that i'm the only girl that does it and i am embarassed by this fact. do a lot of girls do it? i know no-one will talk about it, and its probably not as common as with guys, but i'd like to think i'm not alone out there. :(
also -- i think i get close to orgasm, but i always stop myself because i'm afraid of making too much noise (i live with my parents) i start to shake and feel a bit "dizzy" does this mean i'm close? should i just go with the flow when this happens?

I think i'm gonna sell my iPod and buy an iPod video. However, I've been thinking about whether I should wait for apple to come out with the next iPod or not. Should I buy the new iPod now, or wait and see if a newer one comes out?
