i'm a girl, and i'm 16 and i never used to masturbate but i recently discovered it.
however i feel that i'm the only girl that does it and i am embarassed by this fact. do a lot of girls do it? i know no-one will talk about it, and its probably not as common as with guys, but i'd like to think i'm not alone out there. :(
also -- i think i get close to orgasm, but i always stop myself because i'm afraid of making too much noise (i live with my parents) i start to shake and feel a bit "dizzy" does this mean i'm close? should i just go with the flow when this happens?

yes it is normal i happen to know a lot of girls that do it and the dizzy thing means your geting hyperventalated wich means you are beathing to hard just relax and go all the way it will feel great but de carfull not to get addicted also do it in the shower if your worrid about nois you cant hear anything in ther have fun and do it three times a week reely it is good for your hear it makes it stronger and lowers your blood pressure when your completly relaxed good luck

Girls who say they don't do it are lying. Don't worry, it's not possible to be the only girl who does.
