advice
i have a question bout my parens ...... well dealing with them. I am 15 years old. My parents argue a lot and i cant take it. i hate it so much and they dont understand how much sress it causes me. i dont know how to deal. how can i deal with the stress and anger they cause me? please answer as soon as possible. thank you.

People could be telling you that stuff because they don't want you to get hurt OR because they just don't want you to go out with him.
Just go on and date him...but also watch out for things your friends have told you about. If they turn out to be false then don't worry about it
only the two of you will know what your relationship and eachother are really like.

You're asking me (someone you don't know) if you are ready to have sex...and I say no.
Thats my first reason why. Also because you are under age... Do you really want to stress out if you are pregnant or not? Take care of a child 24/7? You're 14, you have a whole life ahead of you. But if you really think you are ready then go for it. For me, I wouldn't mind waiting a couple of more years.

It really sucks how much my parents love my sister more. They buy her everything, they do everything for her and give her credit for...everything. If we both get 4.0's, my parents will look at me and say...you should work harder, but they can look at my sister and say "Good Job!" My sister has so many clothes that she doesn't never even worn half of what she owns, while I sometimes have to wear the same shirt or pants twice/three times a week. Today, my mom, dad, and sister said they were "Just going out" and would be home soon....3 hourd later I call and where are they? They're at the mall, buying clothes for her and getting her new furniture in her room while I'm doing nothing and being bored. I've tried talking to them about it, but they always say the same thing---we love you guys the same, we treat you guys the same, etc....but how come she gets everything while I'm always left behind?

Since you are the oldest they treat you more like an adult than they do your sister. Your parents probably feel they were too strict on you and want to go easier with your sister because of that, but they dont see that they are going +too+ easy on her.
I think you should try to talk to your parents again...but if that doesn't work try to let them SEE what they are doing

I've been really good friends with this kid...Andy...for 5 years. We started having feelings for each other, and during the summer 2 years ago, we started dating. But at the end of the summer, I found out that we were moving, and so I moved to Ohio and he stayed in Michigan. We have really strong feelings for each other...we can't stop thinking about each other and we talk at least once a week on the phone. Whenenver I visit Michigan, we always hook up but of course, it can never last since I live out of state. Last year, he tried dating other people, but it never really worked cause I was the one he wanted. I also tried dating other people, and again, it wasn't the same. Our feelings for each other were just too strong. Lately, I've grown an interest in two guys...and I want to try dating them, but I don't want to hurt Andy. I could start dating other people...but the thing is--and i know how selfish this sounds--that would give Andy permission to date, and i don't want Andy to date other girls because there's a chance that he could feel just as strongly for them as he feels for me.
Things are so complicated--yet they could be so easy--but I'm not willing to let myself lose him. I could just stay with him...but what if we have to keep our relationshiop the way it is now? On the phone and on my few trips to Michigan?
Or if I do date, I could lose him to another girl.
I just love him too much to let him go.

To me, I think that you are (slowly) moving on... There is a part of you that wants to date other people but want Andy to be there just in case they don't work out. I say tell Andy what you are feeling and date those two guys...You never know what can happen after.

Im 13 in 7th grade and I want to be in the talent show and I've selected a really good piece---"Un Moto Di Gioia" from Marriage of Figaro. I know that I'm only 13 and all, but I've been singing for a really long time and my voice is plenty mature and operatic to sing this---my choir teacher assigned it to me as a solo last year at choir camp and I did a fine job, so don't give me a lecture on "your-voice-isn't-mature-enough" because it is. The only problem is, what if people, like, make fun of me for singing this in the 7th grade? I mean, everyone else will be doing stuff like rapping and pop like Mariah Carey and it'll just look...weird. Do you think I should lay back or go for it???

Don't do it if you just want to make yourself "look hot" for guys. Do it if +you+ like it because some people might think of it as a turn off while others think its a turn on.

I thought the same when I started high school...but it turned out to be just the same as the first day of middle school... Only people were much more polite =) I think it also depends where the school is located... Oh and some of the seniors try to get a freshmen boy/girlfriend because they're new to the school and don't know what they are like =P
