split ends

What do split ends have to do with how fast your hair grows? It doesn't make sense. I know that when you get your hair trimmed it helps it grow faster because it gets rid of the split ends. I know that. I just don't understand why. Hair grows from the other end, so split ends shouldn't affect how fast it grows, right? Somebody please explain this to me it's been bothering me for years. Thanks.

if i wanted to buy something from ebay .. what are some things i would need to know. like whats the difference between 'buy it now' and bidding? also if i 'buy it now' would that mean theres no bidding involved and that if i purchase it then its mine? please include other info please ..ihave no idea

Hey, Ive already searched google, you can try it yourself..there's no results. So does anyone know what song it is where they sing "I want your body, so baby dont tease me.." its an rnb song I think. And then there's another REALLY GREAT song where the dude sings "if she says she wants it, if she says she needs, don't you keep her waiting, give it to her please" (something like that)

Hey guys, there's this movie I want to write about but I can't remember its name. Its about a girl who like gets a makeover and suddenly guys are all over her, and she goes from one date to another, and it drives her father craaazzyy! So he contacts someone, like a shrink or something, who wrote a book about parenting and stuff like that, and in the end he didnt even have a daughter of his own. And so on..i've always thought it was called "daddy's little girl" by I googled it and it was wrong, so can anyone help me find a page with information about it or something?

Since my sister and I were about 11, she has become (over the last 10 years) more and more irrational, irresponsible and impossible to talk to.
You can't say anything to her because it always turns out in an argument. She gets almost EVERYTHING she wants and never lifts a finger to do anything. She doesn't realise how good she has it but she treats everyone like dirt, then insists that whatever latest argument they have had is all their fault.
She goes out of the house at any time she wants without telling anyone where she is going, who with or when she will be back and then just saunters back and shuts herself in her room, which she barely ever leaves.

well here is the deal
i have a muscle spasm/pulled muscle on the top of my leg theigh (or however you spell it)
well to make it better i was told to go to theropy and rest it.
ive decided that im going to finish out track because there is only like 2 weeks left and i will rest it extra after that
well that goes against what the doctor says so my mom said she will no longer take me to the theropy
at school the trainer does basically everything they do at theropy but still i would rather go to theropy because it would be better for me

i been with my gf for about 3 months, we talked for about 4 months befor getting together. we only have communication by phone every day since we don't see each other, we only see each other on week-ends. in the 2nd month of our relationship we had sex (she was a virgin). since than we mostly spend our week-ends having sex but week days talking serious of our daily lifes. she says she loves me but i think i been come an obsession for her. what can it be obsession or love?

How come whenever I run, I get a cramp like on my side.. usually on my right side.. I know they're not menstrual cramps, because they feel way different.. but idk, I've had them for a while, and I think it's a common problem among people.. but does ANYBODY know what they're caused by? And how to prevent them? I also get them when I walk alot sometimes.. but especially when I run on bumpy ground, at softball for example. Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks! HAIR DIFFICULTIES

Well my hair is extremely curly and frizzy. I want to know what I can do with it to make it less frizzy/curly without any products. I use heat styling (straightning irons, hair curlers) all the time but my ends are getting really split so i need a new way. I tried sleeping with my hair in pigtails and then hairties down the whole thing, it takes the frizz away but it looks bad. I also tried rag curlers and that didnt turn out the best does anyone have any other ideas?

hello I need to know the difference between IPL and laser treatment. I know IPL is Intense Pulse light treatment. I want to know which one is better n which one is more effective. if anyone has any experience or know anything about it plz let mme know. i want to have hair removal but dont know which one to chose. laser is a little more expensive as compared to IPL. but if IPL is not as effective thn i dont wanna waste money on that...any reply will b really appreciated

Okay well I'm 13 and I'm in the 7th grade and I'm worried about my friend. Okay shes pretty much drop-dead gorgeous and could get any guy she wants. Well I mean she's not like a slut or anything (Okay she kissed her ex boyfriend(corey) 4 times he was her first kiss ... and then shes made out with her current boyfriend once. ).
Anyways she has had family problems. She has two little sisters and they get favored and her mom pretty much yells at her 24/7 and ignores her all the time.

Ok well the last time i saw him was in january and its now April! ive not seen him so long now he went to hospital and i asked him what hospital he was in and he would not tell me so i guessed and i sent him a get well soon card because he said do not come and visit me then he said hes transfered to another hospital for surgery so i said what hospital i will come and visit you he never told me and it was obvious he never wanted me to see his family like his mum and dad. I am musician setting up my own website to sell my songs, please can you explain in detail the process so people can hear my songs when they download them but cannot keep them unless they pay me - then i need to know how i release the songs to the person who paid.

I am so upset with a psychic reading that I had today. I paid a lot of money- 80 dollars for the reading and it was done over the phone. I only did it because my mother said she's been going to this guy for the last 15 years and that he was very good- and his other testimonials on his website looked promising. Well I asked him if I would end up with the guy that I love- I've been friends with him for a long time. Me and my boyfriend are going through really hard times right now. He keeps telling me how he's too busy to talk or too tired to even figure things out. And I feel like I've just been the one to deal with his bad moods lately. Last night I was explaining to him how hurt I was about the fact that I was crying and all he could talk about was how tired he was about it.
