Pop

What is pop music? I mean, the Beatles are regarded as pop but people hate on pop all the time! They think it's only limited to Britney Spears. Doesn't pop just mean popular? Or did later the meaning changed and included people who can't play their own instruments? If so, pop stars have to dance when on stage so they make up for that, right? Can someone help me with this distinction? Are there subcategories in pop music just like there is in rock?

Racism?

I don't know if this counts as racism, but my friend doesn't really care or know about the difference between Orientals such as Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, etc. It's not that she disses the races but she doesn't get who is who and says "Japanese, Korean, whatever" or "Chinese, Korean, same difference." She also calls me a different race than I am and her family always asks me if I get my stuff from China when I buy my stuff here. I was born in the U.S. and the question really irritates me. I think her dad's the only normal one. She's not Oriental herself but she is Asian. (I don't really want to give anything away because it is probably rude, I don't know). How do I teach her about the differences? I am Oriental but I need some help. Thanks in advance!

Insecure boyfriend

15/f This situation is completely my own fault, but I need advice anyways. I cheated on my boyfriend of 7 months twice recently.. I made a couple of very stupid mistakes and wish I could change the past but I can't. He's great, and he says he's forgiven me, but now he's really insecure. He calls me literally all the time, and asks if I still love him, and if I'm going to leave him. He has these dreams that I'm breaking up with him or going off with another guy, and says that i'd be happier without him. I know I've brought this on myself, but how can I make things go back to how they ised to be? We were so happy until a couple of weeks ago, and I want everything to be perfect again..

Couch Potato Syndrome

So I am a "couch potato" so to speak, but I actually just plain don't like exercise. For 5 years I have not done anything besides being forced to in gym class. How do I start exercising again? I want to focus on running.

i heard a lot of people talking about how the first sign a relationship is going to end or when its going bad is when the guy er girl says "theyre too tired" er "rather sleep" then talk/hang out with you. it seemed kind've ridiculous to me, but i was wondering what other people thought.
