Pot has an effect on the cardiovascular system (heart and blood vessels) which could make your heart race and pound. This is also an explanation for blood shot eyes after smoking it. Throwing up is not common, but it can happen especially if the pot was laced with a dangerous chemical. I believe PCP is still being used, because it makes the pot addictive. It is quite possible you had an allergic reaction, in that case I think you should stay clear of pot and other drugs because with each reaction the effects will be worse and it could kill you.

No its not normal to throw up but it is normal for your heart to race to me it sux and i dont do it becaus it can mess you up. Your performance in school, sports and other activities will suffer when you smoke it problems with memory and learning;
distorted perception sights, sounds, time, touch trouble with thinking and problem solving, loss of coordination and increased heart rate, anxiety, panic attacks. this is all stuff that happens when you smoke it

Although someone said you should try it again I totally disagree. I'm not sure if it's normal but I think you shouldn't. Throwing up can make you die and your heart racing will surely get a heart attack! Don't do it again

It's very normal for first timers. The throwing up thing was your body rejecting the drug, I do NOT recommend you try it again if you threw it up the first time. The heart racing is just a normal drug effect. Could prove to be fatal id you have respitory, circulatory or heart problems of any kind.
