So I like this guy and I think that he likes me back but I'm 16 and he is 18 about to turn 19. I have never dated an older guy before so I don't know if that is weird or not. We know each other pretty well. I was a freshman and he was a senior last year. He is really cute and nice and I really like him but I don't know if the age difference is weird or not. Is it?

Hi. Okay, my friend doesnt like me like i like her but she always doing things for me like she bought me a guitar, gave me some money, and stuff. and like to hangout with me, we use to sit together at lunch and stuff, but when i ask her out she told me she doesnt like me like that...why do she do the thing she does and give me false signals, why is she so caring, but doesnt want to give me a chance.

I'm in love with a guy I've never actually met

So I'm 16 and I've being texting a guy who my friend knows and we've really being hitting it off! we can send each other hundreds of texts a day and have being doing so for a few months! I've got him on Facebook and we talk on there as well, but the problem is that he lives 200miles away so for the time being ill never meet him, but he seems so genuinely nice and caring!! I think I might love him but what do I do?
Please help, any advice is welcome!

Why would my friend act like this towards me?

We're both girls and we were best friends for about 10 years. Now that we're in college, everything has changed. She complained that I got everything too easily when I won my full academic scholarship, and she called me a selfish person for getting more (after I had explained to her about my money situation: older sister in college, having to pay for other things that didn't get covered by the scholarship, like summer classes, extra hours, books, etc). She said I didn't deserve these scholarships.
She never had anything positive to say to me anymore. When we would hang out, I always asked how she was doing and such; when she asked me, she seemed to not even care. She would stop texting me if I mentioned new friends from colle...

She was my best friend. My soul-sister. Now? She hates me. She thinks I did some stuff (which I didnt) and every time I try to explain things to her, she thinks I'm lying. She spread rumors about me. I'm hurt. I just want things to go back to the way it was... But the wound in my heart is just too deep and I can't bear it anymore. It's like, half of me wants to punch her for being such an ass, and yet half of me just wants to apologize even if I'm not wrong...She bears grudges and its so hard to talk to her. I feel so helpless. :(

I went out last night with a few people from work (some who came along I hadn't spoken to before) There were a few of us and we all got pretty drunk. We ended up going back to one of the guy's house and after having more drinks we decided to stay over and go to bed.

Why do I get so jealous?

I get so jealous when my best friend talks to this one specific person. That person is my best friend from school. She doesn't know my best friend like I do and I get jealous when they talk. My best friend knows i get jealous and sometimes i start to think she does things on purpose to make me jealous. I know it is hard for my best friend ans I hate it when I'm like this. But I can't help it.

Feeling Friendless and Useless

As a 22 year old male, I feel ashamed and embarrassed about myself. I don't believe that I have any friends, a hint of a personality, or any redeeming thing about me. I have been fortunate enough to come from a loving, upper-middle class home and have been given many opportunities that most people could only dream of, so it makes me feel even worse that, despite these fortunate circumstances, I am still talent-less, useless, and friendless. If I were to god-forbid pass away tomorrow, people (other than relatives) would only come to my funeral if they feel obligated, not because I had any true impact on anybody other than my family. getting caught while having sex?

DO NOT READ PAST THIS POINT IF YOU ARE UNDER 16 PLEASE . I Wanted to know if i'm the only one who has 1.been caught having sex and 2. been embarassed then looked back and found it funny.
So me and my boyfriend went on a romantic stroll and sit on the beach,time passed and we eventually had sex. I hear somebody on the phone saying something like ″Dude this guy is doggy stylin this sexy chick, get down here″ i think nothing of it. surely i miss heard him, right? My BF then goess ″i dont remember streetlights round here″ i look up properly and find out we were infront of some blokes house. Grief about friend's suicide

My friend committed suicide almost two years ago and I still feel guilty. I am in my senior year of college and I do not want to graduate and I feel guilty whenever I do anything enjoyable that she did not get to do (she died in the middle of her senior year). I feel like I am partly responsible for her death and I do not want to do the things she couldn't. I do not think she would be angry with me now but I still cannot get past the feeling of being partially responsible for what happened. I miss her terribly and I feel like I have not really made any progress in grieving for her, and I'm not sure what to do from here because at this point I feel stuck. Any ideas or support will be helpful because I feel really alone in this, so thank you in advance for your response.

I met this girl and really liked her, but held back telling her for a few months. I finally summoned the courage to ask her out. She said yes and we went to the circus. Then I asked her out again and we went for ice cream. I had a really great time and told her, but played it cool for a couple weeks. I didn't want to come on too strong. Then, I hear she decided to go back to her jerk of a ex. A few weeks went by and then she broke it off with her ex again. So I started talking to her again and then wrote her a poem which she told me she really liked. A week later I asked her out again. She said yes, but on the day of said she couldn't go - I found out later she was talking to her ex again. A couple weeks later, she says it's definitely over...

suicidal thoughts: 57 and just want the pain to stop

I went through a divorce, lost my home, lost my job, and declared bankruptcy in the last year. I am 57 and feel totally hopeless. I am on medication but I don't think it is helping. I am suicidal but haven't act ed on it. Deep down I know I don't want to die; I just want the pain to stop.!! Any suggestions please?

Physically abusive brother with bad temper

My brother and I don't always get along, but when we do, we're good friends. As siblings will do, we pick on each other all the time. I usually laugh his comments off, they don't bother me, but if I say anything to him, he flies into a rage, and starts attacking me. And occasionally he may have no reason to attack me, but he does anyway. When we were younger it was okay, because even though I'm a girl, I was always taller than him, but now he's put up weight and is at least twice as strong as I am. Why is cultural heritage so important when it just encourages xenophobia?

I've lived in different countries in different continents from a young age, and I'm very grateful. Growing up, I used to not understand where things like racism or xenophobia came from, because all places felt like home to me. It's not something fixed, like a city or country, it's about being anywhere with people you love. So I'm always eager to learn and experience different cultures, but it hurts that when someone is only used to living with one specific culture, they don't want it to be changed in any way.
