Math teacher

I got put into algebra 1 and passed the test to stay in there. But honesty, I'm no good at math so I dont know how I got in there. I had Fs only because of low test scores. The quiz had so much on it and I kept forgetting everything.
So obviously, I'm retaking the class. But my teacher isn't helping at all.
She keeps giving us homework, we do it and in class, she goes over it. Row by row, somebody answers and if that somebody gets it wrong... they go up and do the problem. Nobody can hear what's being explained and I'm all confused.
There is no NOTES or warm up problems that we go over. I can't get out of my class because it will mess up my whole scedule and I need those classes at those times [o...

okay this is how it goes....
a friend of mine recently quit the smoking habit although he still is a heavy drinker,and the wierd part is that his girl left him because of he quit the smoking habit.So my question is,do girls get turned on by smokers or off?and do girls mind if their guys are drinkers? and finally,what should I say to my friend's girl?cause we all are pretty good friends and I wish I could help mend their relationship.thanks

how do you guys say no jokingly to someone that offers you a smoke?like do you say"no,carry on and enjoy yourselves" or "I feel bad about taking your share",how do you guys push away the offer in a good manner?

always waiting on christmas

ahh i can't wait! i obsess over christmas bcause thats when i get to see my crush (at camp) i don't care about anything anymore, i dont care about how i look, or what i do.. all i care about is that during christmas i have to be perfect. nothing really matters for me anymore because it feels like only christmas matters! if that makes sense? haha i just want to see him so badly! so what's my question?
i have a few..
1) is this healthy?
or should i maybe get over it?
2) what can i do to make the days go faster?
more specifically: is it a bad idea to count the days?
will that make it so that it feels like time goes slowly, or the otehr way around.. like the days just fly by??

i don't care about my life, because this isnt where want to be!! does that make sense?
this is the thing, i have like 2 lives..
one over here, and one in london (i go there once every 3 months) and i like my life over there more, even though this is where my life really is.. so when im over there, i make sure i always look hott, always do my best, always have fun and so on.. i try over here, but it kinda doesnt matter anymore, i dont care about my life here, i dont take care of myself, i can look like crap..i can get bacd grades.. i can be unpopular.. because i dont care, it feels like im not supposed to be here.. while when im over there.. i care. i don't know, i feel so unhappy always waiting for when i can go there and LIV...

Ok, my boyfriend and I have been together almost 6 months... He doesnt talk to me in school, and he doesnt call me anymore. Well his parents won't let him come over to my house and I haven't been to his house in a long time!!! Also at lunch his friends come and sit with me and he gets mad. What can I do to get him to call me and not get mad!!! 1 last thing... My school has this thing called homecoming and he said that he didnt want to go, but I do, what can I do to get him to go!!!

Memory Brain

I want to success in school and try my hardest to get straight A's or at least 4 of them. I want to make my mom and dad proud of me and I'll feel really good in side.
My true question is, how do you increase your memory? I want to have a better memory so when I hear it, I learn it quicker.
OR
How do I remember things? I want to do really well in school. Should I read more books? Should I read at least 1 hour a day? Should I review old things over and over?
Teachers, parents, friends, you can help me!
Any advice will help a lot.

so i really like this guy. and last semester he kinda said that he will go to a different school and then the other day he said that he have to stay. so school startet three days ago and the first day he was there. but the next two days he was'nt. and i dont know if he's coming back now or not cause next week my class is going to a camp for 1 week. and i'm really worried he's going to a different school now cause i really like him and the school is not the same without him. so what should i do? what do you think????

me and this guy told eachother that we liked eachother, and as soon as that happened.. i figured we were about to hook up.
but then he had a talk with me, and tld me he realized he's in love with his ex, and he told me we have to postpone whatever it is we have until he gets over her..if he ever does get over her.. doesn't it sound like he doesnt wnat to get over her??
anyways, the questions is, does this sound like a bad idea? i dont know, the reason im hesitating is because´im afraid of being his sloppy seconds, or hisplan B, you know??
but still.. i really want him, so something inside me tells me maybe he was just trying to be honest with me, he didn't want to start anything while he still has feelings for her.....

Hi can ayone help me? My problem is that I want to becaome a Goth.. however I am also considering a career in acting/as an actress or working with horses (going to an agricultural college) Can I do both?? I have NEVER seen a goth working with horses??? So if I worked with horses would becoming a Goth/gothic be a problem?Also about the acting....do you know of any famous actors/actresses who are gots/gothic?? Could i still be a Goth if I was an actress? PLEASE CAN ANYBODY HELP!!!!!
What kind of jobs can Goths get ussually?? What sort of careers do they go into??
Also I failed my GCSEs (with G grades) am i clever enough to become a Goth? Don't you have to know stuff like painting,writing poetry etc ..to be a Goth? I ...

Inappropriate baby shower gift?

Earlier I posed on Advicenators a question about whether I should get a second gift for my brother's baby shower (I got a pair of socks for start). I have since purchased a second gift but I'm hesitant to give it at the shower (which is two weeks away). It's a baby t-shirt from T-Shirt Hell and says "I can kick your baby's ass." I think it's funny and would make a nice change from all the cutesey baby shirts they're sure to get. (It's certainly less offensive than most of the other T-Shirt Hell baby shirts, if you check their website.) But what if someone (namely my brother or his wife) becomes offended? I doubt my brother will but I don't know his wife very well and I don't know if she's sensitive or not.

Parents Argueing

Lately my parents have been REALLY argueing. Tonight at dinner I left and they just fought for 3 hours straight. The past 2 months have been really stressful for them I think. My mom is having trust issues with my dad because he went out to lunch with 'some fat lady' and it was because of work. He had to take her out. Anyways, he has lied about who he has been with but personally, I don't find it to be THAT big of a deal. I am so stressed lately because well, I have my own problems and they have their's to add to mine.
Recently we moved about a year ago. They want to move back now because this place has nothing to do. Back at my old place, there were things to do. My parents think this is another reason to why they are fighting.

Abusive Boyfriend???? + my friends

Ok, so this is a bit of a messy situation and any advice you can give will be greatly appricated.
Im an 18yr old female - I've been dating my boyfriend on and off for six years - none of my friends like him. They say hes abusive and controlling. At the moment we are "on a break" but i know that we're going to get back together ... i just dont want my friends to find out becasuse i dont want them to worry about me. Even though my realationship isnt always pretty, i love what i have and im not going to lose it again.
So anything you can say that might help me know what to do would be greatly appricated

GF stopped taking her meds, what do i do?

So ive been going out w/ my girlfriend for 4 months now and up until about the past 3 weeks eevrything has been fantanstic. the 3 weeks comes into play because thats when she stopped taking her anti-depressant medication. She told me she just ran out and hasnt bother to get the prescription re-filled, but i think she just got tired of them. since then shes been lashing out at me, had unstable moods, and just isnt the same. Ive told her shes changing but she just ignores me. I love her very much but if shes goign to continue like this (it seems like its intentional) then i may just have to call it quits.
