dinner outfit
Tonight I'm going to an important dinner party. It's casual dress code, but I've never been to a dinner party before. I don't want to appear under or over dressed. I really don't have a clue what to wear.
Coud you help me out by giving me ideas on what clothes to wear. and how to do my hair and makeup?

okay.. if i were you.. i would wear jeans. ( no holes ) and like, a sweater, or something like i am in my pic! so.. it could be formal casual.. or.. it could be casual casual.. i would do that.. or maybe wear like.. a black form fitting shirt and jeans! and your hair how it looks good.

Casual is basically make yourself presentable. Don't show up dressed for prom, but at least brush your hair before you go. You know what I mean?
Wear any clothes that aren't your basic "jeans and old t-shirt" look. A nice top and dress pants (or a good pair of darkwash jeans) will be fine.
Keep your makeup simple. A nude lipstick or lipgloss, or even just Chapstick for something along those lines. For eyeshadow, wear a shade that compliments your eyes (pink, white, or light brown, for brown or hazel eyes; light blue, gray for blue eyes; green or purple for green eyes) and keep mascara looking natural- this isn't the time to put 93478234 layers on both lashes =].
And your hair will be fine in a simple style like down on your shoulders or in a basic updo (in a bun, clipped up, et cetera).

i think you should wear a nice skirt possibly in solid colors. do leave your hair down and make your make up sutle and natural. dont do any dark eyeshadows or lipsticks. and your shirt should be nice and clean.
try to see what other people r wearing there.
