The Cars, AC/DC, Rolling Stones (even though they're wayyyy overrated) The Beatles (ditto), Pink Floyd, et cetera.
Also: Nirvana, Nickelback, Guns 'n' Roses. Music like that. Not as old though.
You can also go to Classic Rock videos on Yahoo! Music. Or iTunes and maybe Rhapsody. And go through your parents CD collections. You may be pleasantly surprised!
