Tampons

Okay, well I'm 14/f and I'm using pads and I hate it since a)it's really noticable to carry around b)it's very annoying c)it's disgusting to take care of.
Well, I want to use tampons. And i have some questions on it(only for people who have used tampons and pads..or just tampons):
1. Is there a chance of it leaking (like frequently so that your undies are stained with blood)
2. How often is there a chance of it getting stuck (like the string used to pull it out snapping before you can pull it out)
3. Is it much cleaner and easier to use than pads?
4. What brand is the best?
Also, I don't know how to tell my mom that I want to use tampons instead of pads.

Okay, well to start off, I'm 14/f. Well, my biggest crush is in my gym class(John)...along with the girl(Pam) he asked out few days ago. Anything bad here?

I was pondering this for awhile, and I have really bad upper-digestive problems, mainly acid-reflux (like REALLY bad), and heartburn. I get a lot of spasms in my throat, frequent shortness of breath (especially exercising), and i'm always coughing. I am not sure if these symptoms are just from other reasons, but people keep telling me I might have cancer, or somewhere to the chance of developing it. Maybe asthma as well from my breathing problems. I get confused on this. And I need what to look for in cancer (like in the throat) and the symptoms of asthma (maybe other breathing conditions) also, if it does sound like I have anything to seek a Doctor with, what could I possibily have (in your educated opinion/guess).

I am a teenage girl. I am completely SICK AND TIRED of being single and shunned by everyone I know. Lately I have started drinking. Actually it's a bottle of my parents' red wine that I have taken and hidden from them. Every day since about a week ago I have been drinking about 2-3 sips of it every day. (which is a lot for me) I used to get headaches and feel bad after I drank, but now I feel really good- like it's the only thing that can make me happy. I don't really get hangovers anymore either. Maybe this wine is really strong or something, but I feel the affects of it (without getting drunk) after this small amount. I feel all gross the next day until I drink again. My friend, she has a cheerleading competition, on the same day as my halloween party. its like huge like 60 kids. & everything. I can't reschedule it, because its the only day they could do it.
Its our last year at the same school together, so its not like there will be another halloween party.
Anyways, I'm really mad.. that she'd rather go to some stupid cheerleading competition then be at my halloween party with me. is that being selfish? I mean there will be other cheerleading competitions. Right? Wouldnt you be mad, if that happened to you?

okay, so i HAD a best friend, me and her were friends for almost 4 years she knew everything about me and we were really close. although she was a little fake towards me - such as she dated my ex and would never help me out when i was in a fight with someone she even once used me to get to one of my brothers friends. i always had her back though and let all these things slip by. so this girl who i dont like goes to her and tells her that ive been talking about her behind her back, that did hurt her but it hurt me to, my friend for 4 years cant even trust me? well i guess more then just this one girl told her that i was talking about her, and i must admit i had talked about her on several occasions, but she always ditched me when i needed he...

15/f. okay this may seem like a weird question but i'm all stressed out about this. i'm getting my braces off on december 28th. currently i have a fake tooth attached to my braces so that the space doesn't close. after i get my braces off i'm going to get a permanent tooth put in their by my dentist. but the problem is that my orthodontist told me that when they take my braces off they will attach a fake tooth to my retainer so the space doesn't close up. at first i thought this was a good idea, but now i'm changing my mind. i realized that once i take my retainer out for lunch at school people will notice that suddenly i don't have a tooth where i did before. and then i'll but it back in and viola! a tooth. won't that we really weird? one ...

is it true [[well i heard - could be just one of those stupid fitness rumors. lol]] that if you drank 8 glasses of water a day you could really lose weight? if so, how much? dont worry im not going on any of those crash diets.

Since school started ive become friends with a guy, and i think i like him more than that. The other day after realizing my feelings for him were real..i finally admitted it...before id joke aroudn with my friends about how he was cute and things..and one of my friends willa agreed..i asked her if she liked him, but she said, not if you do. i thought that was really nice of her. Yestedday she wrote me a letter sayign she really likes him too. i felt like my stomach dried up. I have had a cold for the last few days so I have been taking Robitussin. And yes, I have been taking it as directed...every 4-6 hours.
Should I worry if my urine smells like Robitussin??? It sounds weird, I know, but my urine, even my underwear smells like Robitussin! It's very strong.
