i have been living with my grandparents for almost a year now. and my mother has not sent me any money to help me living such as, food, clothing, etc. my grandmother was thinking about grandparents rights. and i was wanting to know what are the postive and negative outlooks along with this ? how does this work ? and how do you get them ?

100 % cotton

Is every piece of clothing that is made out of only cotton going to shrink?
IS there any way to prevent this from happening, and does it matter if the water is hot or cold? I have a pair of shorts that's 100 % cotton, and I want to have minimal shrinking when I wash them, so what should I do?

Lumps Around Stomach

Okay, ever since I moved from Hong Kong to Texas, I've had some weird lumps around my belly button. They itch sometimes and bleed when I itch them but have never gone away. They look like goosebumps that are spread out. WHAT ARE THEY???

im tired of the plain old full bangs layered hair thing.
any ideas on how i should change my hair? its a bit lower then shoulders i make it straight daily, i have it one solid color currently because i hated my blonde hair.

why is it that when you pluck them, somtimes theres a little black ballstuck to the bottom and somtimes its white and somtimes there is none?

hey. well, i'm 14/f. and this year i'm going to be going into high school. and i'm really scared about being around all of the older kids and stuff, but thats not what i'm most scared about. i'm scared about sex. this probably sounds really stupid to some ppl, but i don't care. i really want to wait until marraige, but there is so much pressure in high school, i don't want to do something i know i don't want to do. i mean, i don't even know if i'll have a boyfriend or anything, but if i do, i want him to be someone who won't pressure me. how can i have good judgement. please help. and any other good advice about high school will be much appreactiated. thanks a bunch!!!!

losing touch

i feel like all my friends are drifting away and all i have left is the guy im sleeping with that is causing my friends to drift away and one best friend that lives about 2hours away. i need friends here and i need the friends i have to come back. im probably going to stop sleeping w/ my guy friend because people always find out about us and it causes drama. i need something to do especially with my closest friend that lives here that's going to bring us closer together. we used to be like sisters and now we're holding together by strings. don't tell me to get new friends. these people are all i have left, they're my life.

ok i have fcp and i don't know how to use it...... i have a mac book pro if thats important to knw....
i have a video which i uploaded from my vidcam to imovies and saved the file from there. then i closed it and reopened the file from fcp..... the thing is i don't know how to use the program :S
here what i need to know:
-stabilize shaking in film
-lighten the colors and brightness without fading it out (it was in doors with dim lights and there are loads of ppl crossing infront of me and a billion children running around)
-cut some of the footage out without the audio being removed.............

ok so i want to get a cell phone for my birthday and my dad said to find out about plans that verizon has because thats the service he and my mom use. so anyway does anyone know what you do to add anohter phone to a plan or whatever..? i really dont know anything about it but i have to find out about it before my bday in order to get one..

I want to have a lot of friends. I have virtually none now. The only reason is because when i started dating my boyfriend i kind of stopped hanging out with friends. With the new school year approaching in August i want to become popular friends with all. Any tips or any usefull pointers??

On AIM, how do you "link" your screen names (I think thats the term...not sure though)
I have the 6.1 version on IM, so I'm not sure how your supposed to make it so that you link them
Linking IMs means being able to be on two of your IMS at once...
So how do you do this on the new AIM

Latley I have been feeling like i have no use in the world. I feel like i have no talents like the actors and models and singers do. I think it might be depression, which my mother has, so it does run in the family, but i don't think it is so bad that i need medication. I'm just sad, all the time. I want to do something like model or act so i wont feel so useless, but i dont think i would ever get the oppertunity to. I dont cut and i never thought of killing myself so dont worry about that. My main questions are
1.Is this depression, or something else?
2.Should i see a doctor or something?

on AIM, i put up an away message. afetr 20 minutes, it says your idle. no one touches the computer after i leave it, and i hide all popup notifications, etc.. yet sometimes it will randomly take me off idle so it looks like i'm actively on the computer when i'm not. how can i fix this?

1 Week Plan to Lose. (Guys Opinion needed also.)

Hi. before i start I want to say thanks. :) If your a guy answering this then all I want to know is if you think I'll be too skinny so thats it unattractive after you read the info. Ok so for the summer Im trying to lose weight and get in good shape. Im normal, meaning im not skinnny and im not fat. I'm a girl, 14 and 5'7 and 138 pounds. I'm a size 7 in jeans and by the end of the summer I want to be a size 3 or 5? Which would be better considering my height? Would I be too skinny a 3? Would I be normal a 5? What is the average weight for a person 5'7 that is a size 5? I want to lose about 1.5 lbs per week. I have 10 weeks of vaca so 1.5 x 10 is 15 lbs. Whats a good plan of exercise that I could do everyday to lose 1.5 lbs in 7days ? srry for it being long. Thanks.
