well i got out of a bad but serious relationship if you know what i mean. hard to explain, but now i like this kid. im preppy and he is emo adn were total opposites. but we both love writing and the only time we really talk personally is on myspace. well he reall is proud of me for my success with my poetry and no one else feels as excited as i do. except him. idk... what should i do.. my writing is my one and only love. i can say what i truly feel and not be jugded, adn i always thought no one would understand that. plus my family doesnt know that i got a scholarship for poetry cuz they want me to continue the fam business of being a cop. how do i tell them the way i feel about writing .... and how do i react to this secretly sexy guy

Major creative block

20/f. I'm open to advice from anyone at this point, I'm kinda stuck.
A little background on me: I've always used writing as an outlet, whether it's to dream up my future husband, or play out a scene before it happens to see how it'll turn out (my writing's also had a habit of predicting events, if I use people I know as characters.) My other two major creative outlets are singing and drawing, all of which I'm equally good at...but all of which I'm equally stumped on.
I was reading some of my old writing, and I found it to be...overwhelming. One of my stories was written entirely out of my control (my characters took over), and it's just SO good. I can't figure out how to just let go like I did to write that story. Where my pro...

My parents hate me.

I really am convinced that my parents hate me.
My dad has said he'd rather pay for boarding school than have to see me everyday, and tonight he said that he doesn't have time for me anymore.
My mother doesn't listen to a word that comes out of my mouth. I've noticed that I talk louder around her than I do around anyone else.
I am such a good kid. I get good grades, my room is close to clean, the whole shebang.
Why don't my parents love me?

I need help! Im 13 and all my freinds have gotten there periods but not me. My boobs are big and my sister and my mom got there periods while they were 11. Why am i the only left out one. I read a whole bunch of articals and i predict i will get mine in 6 months minimum. But please help in any way possible!

okay so me and my friends used to hang out with these guys from another school. like i had a boyfriend and we would hang out with him and some of his friends. hes not really friends with them anymore and im not going out with him anymore. i was friends with the other guys before i started going out with him anyways. but anyways...we used to hang out with those guys all the time last year. now we dont really talk to or hang out with them anymore. except for one of them that i hooked up with. but i feel like all the other guys dont like me anymore and im not sure why. any help? it seems like as soon as i broke up with my boyfriend they didnt wanna hang out with us anymore.

getting in shape

Ok so im 14, 5'3" and i weigh about 115.
i am not fat just slightly overweight. I am hoping to workout all christmas break and when i come back to school i am skinnier to the point where people notice. i am aiming at about 110 to 105.
Does anyone know any workouts or diets that will make me lose weight within the christmas break period which is 2 weeks.
also.. this is off topic but i also have a SLIGHT acne problem.. what is acne solutions that work really well? or a really good cover up. i have already tried proactiv, it does not work on me.

eating problems

I had had an eating disorder on and off for 7 years. Right now i am 5'6 and 105 and im 18 and i just turned 18. i really to lose weight.. maybe only like 5lbs. I know from my height and weight, i sound thin, but i do have a couple pounds i could lose. Im not one of those people who thinks theyre enormous when they aren't, but i really want to lose weight. What do you guys think?

How do you make a boy jealous? The reason why I want to know how is because the boy I like lied to me by saying he had a girlfriend when he really doesn't just to avoid going out with me and now I want to show him that I don't need him and that he missed out on someone special who really did and still does like him. Scared of driving..

I dont know why, but I am really afraid to drive! I'm 15 and I've already driven a couple of times, but everytime my mom asks me if i want to drive somewhere, my stomach just drops! Thats how bad i hate driving! I don't know how to get over this fear, and I mean, i'm not a horrible driver, I just am so nervous!
I'm takin drivers ed this summer, so my question is, how do i get over this fear before drivers ed?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for a few months, he's a wonderful guy, and won't ever do anything to me, he wants me to put his hands/or tell him anything I wanted to do, and I like that about him, he's amazing.
So, a few nights ago we talked about going further, and we're only going one step, AND ONLY THAT. We got that clear!
Well...he's going to finger me. He's had sex before, maybe 3 times, but in a 1yr relationship!
Is this going to be bad? Since he has had sex before...anyway, one more question, I should check his nails first right, and make sure no cuts at all, right?

Okay so I get really shy around guys and don't say like ANYTHING and all I do is smile, and I sort of hate my smile anyways. But yeah, so, a ton of guys always talk to my friend, she's a total flirt! and I love her like a sister, but I'll admit i get jealous at times. I'm normally pretty extrovert but around guys im like SUPER quiet. What can I say or do? I feel like i don't know them that well. Even though I've gone to school with them FOREVER. I hate being the quiet girl in the corner, it acctually gets pretty lonely sometimes ill admit. Any ideas?

ok, I don't really know where to start. I go to school in Montanna. Me and my boyfriend had been going out for about 3 weeks talking for about 2 months and then it was my bday. I was turning 16. he got me this card about fart. It was strange, and he doesn't really even talk to me at school. I don't know what to do. I guess he's shy, but I am too. He will call pretty much every other night, and we will talk about 20-30min. What does all this mean.
