How much do personal trainers usually cost...Like if i went to like the local gym or something and wanted my own personal time weekly...well actually how does it work. Do you go and they help you and while you are doing something they help someone else? Explain it to me please and give me an idea of the costs, a range with examples is ok. Thank you!

I walked about 3 hours and 30 minutes today at a normal pace--no running, jogging, etc. Can I lose weight by walking this much or do I need to run or jog or something to get my heart rate up more to produce weight loss?

I have a daughter and she is 12 years old. She is a bit overweight.But does not look it.
She's 5'3, 12, and weighs 139 lbs. My question to you all is do you think that she is overweight, and if so, what can she do, that is fun, to lose weight?

alright kitttys, im like 5'10 and i weigh 180ish is that over weight? i dont think i look so bad i like my legs but i NEEED to lose my love handles, i tryed doing side crunches and twists and shit but i never feel the burn on my sides no matter how many i do i just feel it on my tummy, which i also wanna tone a little but its not too bad. so can someone tell me some exersice that targets my sides and thats affective?! thank you! :]

okay so last summer i was supppperr skinny and cute mostly due to a devistating break up where i ate barely anything everrrrr. i was so happy with the way i looked and i stayed that way until the beggining of this year where i ended up drinking and eating all the time and gained about 15 pounds. i lost 10 pounds and stopped dieting bceause i was happy with myself again and ended up doing the same drinking/eating all the time & stopped working out and gained the 10 pounds back in a matter of a month! im so pissed and so frustrated wtih myself that i lost it and now i gained it back! i am giving myself 2 weeks of doing nothing but working out/dieting to lose this 10 pounds. please give me advice or anything to keep me sane im so embaresse...

For my tattoo, I'd like piano keys across my shoulders and a quote either above or below them. So far I found two beautiful quotes. Shakespeare's "If music is the food of love; play on." and Henry Ward Beecher's "Of all the music that reached farthest into heaven, 'twas the beating of a loving heart." Both have music and love, which is what I wanted since I am in love and love playing piano, but I just cannot pick!

I'm 16/f. Ok, so last year, I lost 30 pounds. But during winter I always gained weight. And last year i became a basketball manager, so I never had anymore time to exersize. Well I gained most of it back, and I'm really starting to hate my body again. When I lost weight I was so happy all of the time, I felt like I was on top of the world. Well now I usually feel depressed, because my body is back to its usual self. So what can I do to get back in the habit of loosing weight? I've tried to start working out again, but it's just not working. Some tips please? I can't figure out if it's just because I'm not motivated or what, but some ideas would really help. Thanks!

16/f. I am about 5'4", 150 lbs... My doctor told me I should be about 138. I would like to lose some weight on my arms and in my stomach and thighs..Are there any particular exercises that can help me with this? I have no access to a gym or weight lifting equipment. Please be kind of descriptive! Thanks!

ok so, i have a stationary bike. i just got it 7/7/09 and i've been using it every day. the first day i went for 8 miles and today i did about 4. my question is, how much weight could i lose by the start of school, 9/8/09, if i bike anywhere from 4 miles? should i do more? what should i eat? also, is 5 pounds a week too much to lose? if so, what is the maximum weight to lose in a week?
*im a vegetarian, so if youre going to make meal suggestions (i would like that :]) please no red meat or bird. thanks!
