Tattoo quotes; I'm torn between two!

Question Posted Monday July 13 2009, 8:04 pm

For my tattoo, I'd like piano keys across my shoulders and a quote either above or below them. So far I found two beautiful quotes. Shakespeare's "If music is the food of love; play on." and Henry Ward Beecher's "Of all the music that reached farthest into heaven, 'twas the beating of a loving heart." Both have music and love, which is what I wanted since I am in love and love playing piano, but I just cannot pick!

I definately like the first one. Its short, simple, and to the point. I think it would make an awesome tattoo. Of course, go with your heart because it will be on you forever but i personally like the first one. Good Luck!

The second one is beautiful, I'd actually consider it for my own tattoo. It shouldn't matter how well known the people are, as long as it means something to YOU.

i wouldnt want something saying food on my arm for some reason.
i'm just saying what i would prefer.

I like the first one, because for one, it's shorter, and two, it makes more sense than the second one.

Plus, Shakespeare is more known than Beecher.
