I walked about 3 hours and 30 minutes today at a normal pace--no running, jogging, etc. Can I lose weight by walking this much or do I need to run or jog or something to get my heart rate up more to produce weight loss?

I go to the gym daily for about an hour and don't experience any weight fluctuation. So absolutely you can lose weight from walking, its all about getting your body moving. Running and jogging are also great, but walking will still do just fine :) [ duudee_advicer's advice column | Ask duudee_advicer A Question ]

Then again, I'm not a doctor, nor am I a fitness trainer.
