Is it RUDE??

I was studying at a cafe today, when the guy next to me (just for the sake of talking to me), asked if I knew how to fill out information for some computer thing...I said I didn't, and resumed with my work. Less than a minute later, he turned around and asked me, "are you single?" and I replied, "I don't see why that matters." I felt a little awkward, so I got up and left the area, and under his breath he said " it's just a question." Was my answer/reaction a little uncalled for or rude? Now, to clarify, I don't care about how he felt, but I want to know for future reference...I mean, guys/men ask little questions all the time, and sometimes women want to know how to respond. I do not want to be rude, but I don...

friends, my ex and a very tough situation

ok well this is a tough situation,me and my ex broke up about a month ago after about a year and 9months. it was heart breaking and very hard for both of us but we were just fighting so much and we werent happy no more so we called it quits. we have decided no to talk as much but we still do once in a while. we both still care about eachother very much though. ok this is were it gets hard,in skool we have the same group of friends so we are all pretty close and well one of his friends likes me and well we stared to talk and we ended up kissing. witch was a mistake because we didnt think of wat was to follow that decison,but i liked it. well my ex found out and was furious he has threatend to fight him. ok we will give him a name because it ...

hair advice

is there anything you can do to make your hair grow? my hair will not grow, it's been the same length for months. i'm a vegetarian and ever since i became one a year and a half ago my hair turned to crap. it got thin and damaged really easily. anything i can do?

7 hours with 2 kids

Okay I have a job with my older sister and we babysit 2 kids. The job is $2.50 an hour when we work together and $5 an hour when we work alone. We babysit an 11 year old girl and a 9 year old boy. They live right by the school and we can walk to go to the playground and stuff. They have a pool and a pretty big yard. No big deal right? Well we babysit from 7:30 AM- 2 PM. and me and my sister get really bored. I know its kinda selfish but it gets really boring. I need some advice on how to keep the kids and my sister and I entertained. Board games weren;t so hot last time and TV... well if you like Pokemon I guess its okay. How far is too far?

When its comes to parents snooping around in their kid's business, how far is too far?
A few months ago I found out my own mom had searched/read my diary, any school notes from friends hidden in drawers, snooped onto my Myspace, Facebook, and Xanga, and even talked to some loose lipped friends about things I had done when I had given her no previous reason to not trust me. It has even gone as far as her texting my boyfriend and asking how far we've gone.
For a while, I wanted to appear more bad ass so I faked things on my Myspace and Xanga lying about sneaking out, drinking, sexual experiences, smoking etc. to fit in with friends. Well my mom found these and grounded me for weeks when in reality I hadn't actual...

Well where do i begin?? haha well see i met this boy over the summer when i went to visit my dads, and we hit it off really well. We hung out almost every day. But the thing is, i added him on myspace, and we started talking....there is three scenarios that i want you to read...
1) His "friend" started talking to me and wouldnt tell me who he was. He just said "do you like my friend?" and i was like "my guess is he is in that room with you. who are you" and he was like "i cant say" and i was like "well does ty like me?" and he was like "i cant tell you i just cant..." and i was like "ok its funner that way" and he said "okay i will talk to you later"....<...

smell good

Okay, so I really really want to know how to smell good all the time, to have a strong normal smell. My friend has this particular smell, and it smells so clean and fresh. You can smell it immediately even if you just walk by her. Whenever I start sweating even a little, my armpits smell and it's so annoying to think about it. Generally I smell good because of my clothes and I don't have B.O., but I want a really good, clean smell, all the time. I want the clean smell to be on my clothes all the time, I want that good washed smell a lot. Most of the time I have it on my clothes, but how do I keep it. I want this guy to notice that I smell really nice..and it's just good for me. Also, is there a way for your sweat not to smell so bad? Or become less prone to sweat?

Just wondering what you guys thought a good weight would be to fit that discription?
Also, I know I'm not fat but I have baby fat (i guess?) on my stomach. I'm looking for an easy way to tone it or get rid of it- besides just sit ups and crunches. Any ideas?

17/f... 8 month relationship... long story

aside from the title.. i seem to be having some relationship problems... after 8 months of fun..it seems my bf and I get really mad with eachother very easily.. we've both grown very sensitive..and both love eachother.. but summer is here.. he lives about two hours away from me..and i feel this might break our relationship.. we wont get to see eachother often.. until school starts ( late august).. and this whole problem looks like we're growing tired of eachother when in reality Im NOT... do you think he is? he says he's not, but he has a tendancy of not wanting to hurt my feelings sometimes... =/ please help... if i'm going to lose him.. i'd rather not but if i do i'd rather end my misery than be even more devastated. thanks in advance

Crazy body type

I have a large chest, wide hips, a slim waist and a short torso. Basically, I have a very hourglass body type but my torso is so short that I appear much wider then I actually am!
What kind of tops can I wear to lengthen my torso?
The tops with bands underneath the bust usually fall wide against my round hips making even my waist look large when its not.

i'm a sophomore and i know i still have time to think about what i want to do when i "grow up". but when i'm a junior i'm going to try and do a post secondary program where i go to college for part of the day and i get college credit, so i feel more rushed to figure this out.
i'm interested in fashion, and i know it's a hard thing to get into. i want to do something i enjoy so i'm not stuck with a job i hate for the rest of my life. so do you know any websites that help you with choosing? like career tests or something? thanks!
