How do I tell my parents about online dating?

I met a guy through online dating a few weeks back. We really hit it off. He only lives a few miles away from me and shares almost all of the same interests. He also seems extremely sweet! He said that he wants to take me out on a date, and I really want to go. Now, the dating site I met him on does background checks. Obviously he's not a psycho because they let him through. We've also skyped multiple times, so I know he's actually a real person. However, I have a problem. For the time being, I live with my parents instead of in a dorm (for various private family reasons). Because I'm at home, I'm basically under a microscope. 21/f. so... i'm the first person who gives the advice "he/she is just not that into you..," but this guy is confusing. he isn't very easy to read. i had that mentality for a long time when guys just didn't really give me the response I was waiting for to show me that he liked me. but, one of my cousins taught me a lesson. he's been in love with this girl for a long time. but, he's extremely shy. he use to be even worst! now that he left town for medical school, he's a little bit more assertive. but, he's never even had his first kiss... and he's 25. i know that this is a little extreme and this guy is not like that. But, it made me realize that there are guys who are extremely shy and need a little bit of a push.

boyfriend moving across the country

I am a 20 year old female enrolled in northern illinois university. I met my boyfriend here freshmen year and we have been dating for two years. He has been an athlete on the golf team here at school, but was cut from the team last week. He wants to golf professionally, so he is going to try to find another college to play golf at. His parents live in south carolina. He said he might go back there to go to school.
I feel like this could hurt our relationship greatly. I do not know what I should do. I thought about transferring schools to be closer to him, but there is so much to think about when doing that. What should I do? Please help.

I love his personality but Im not attracted to him physically at ALL. I don't want to sound shallow but that's how I feel. I could talk to him for hours on the phone and laugh and have a great time but when I look at him I just don't feel like I could kiss him. I feel like the most I could do is cuddle and hold hands. I feel horrible and I wish I could be physically attracted to him but I'm not. What should I do?

how do i keep my husband focused on things that we NEED to talk about to resolve the continuous and serious marital issues? he cannot face truth or facts. he always finds a way to divert the subjects either by acting out, anger or changing the subject. if i say something he doesnt want to hear, he 'acts out'.

I am 18 years old almost 19(female) and my ex-boyfriend is 20. My ex-boyfriend and I were dating for six months, and he recently broke up with me because he wanted to focus more on his fraternity. I know that he definitely still has feelings for me and still loves and cares about me. My question is, what can I do on my end to try to make things work? It has been especially hard because we were extremely close and he was my best friend. Now that we have been broken up, we barely talk or see each other. I just want to know how I could increase the chances of us getting back together, without being pitiful.

19/f...boyfriend is gonna be 20. throwing a party for him. He's inviting a couple friends from work (like 5, all guys) he asked me to invite girls. because he said "most guys want to get drunk and meet/have sex with girls at parties" 1.this makes me not want to have the party. and 2. this makes me unsure of who to invite. Should I move or stay and finish college?

Alright so I'm married and my husband is in the Navy. I won't be able to move with him until May. By then I'll only have about 5 more classes to take to finish my Associate's. But it's been really hard with him gone. We've been married for about 3 months and I've seen him once. I know most people would say to stay and finish but it just sucks. The thing with college is I have a scholarship that pays 3/4 of my classes but that last semester I'll be short about 2 hours so I won't be able to qualify for it. It's just staying till next December seems so far away. I love him so much that I just want to be with him. And I knew what I was getting into when I married him. I just want someone's opinion on the matter and what I should do. Thanks so much!

There is this guy who I like and I think he likes me back. Recently we've been talking and it's been great. The problem is that when he dosnt text me I freak out but when he does text me I don't want to talk to him. Breaking up with my girlfriend who still loves me

I want to break up with my girlfriend but she is still very much in love with me. We have had a conversation and are currently on a no contact break for a few days. She thinks i'll regret it and don't fully appreciate what we have (She's my first girlfriend but she's had a couple before). I do really care about her and hate hurting her. When she tells me how much she loves me, and how she doesn't want to lose me, I really struggle as it makes me love her (how many people are we going to have love us in such a way in our lives?!) and so I really doubt whether I am doing the right thing.
Our relationship isn't helped by me being away at university and when we're together, it is great. However, I really struggle when we keep go...
