The Perfect Storm

Hi everyone. I am currently reading the Perfect Storm, but I don't really understand the book. I know its setting but I don't get it on a depper and more analytical way. Can anyone offer advice on this book...a way to better understand it? There aren't any notes about the book on cliffnotes or sparknotes or gradesaver or pinkmoney and I REALLY don't want to pay bookrags and browsing I'm not finding enough information. Please help me....this book is complicated.

okay so school is coming up and i have no job or money as yet. I've applied to over 20 places and none have called back as yet so the job thing is off the list for now. My mother wants me to babysit her friends kid while they go away for the weekend and i'm going to get paid $100.00, But the thing is that we don't have a relationship at all, we don't talk, she's always attacking me physically and verbally and whenever she wants her favours done, she uses me...i want to do it because atleast that's a start for me then my dad would give me some more money on top of that for school shopping but on the other hand; i don't want to do it because she's just using me..like she always does and i would have to ride in the car with her down there and ...

for example, friendship string braclets, tyedie shirts, necklaces with soda cap openers.

I've already spent all of my fall and winter school clothes money, but my mom has an account at Kohl's so we're going to go there.
But I'm tired of wearing the same basic colored t-shirt, hoodie, jeans, and flats or sneakers or whatever.
Thats basically all I bought so far-- BASICS!
Can you guys give me some insight? No store names, please. I'm perrty restricted.
But how do you mix and match different colors and patterns without looking like you..DON'T MATCH?
What do you wear? Please, I feel totally BLAH!

what a good hair coloring box BRAND i can get from walmart or any drugstore?
example like loreal feria (that a good one?) ; or Clairol Natural Instintc (dat a good one also?)

Flat stomach?

So this summer i've been trying really hard to flatten up my stomach. The thing that bothers me is that my stomach has like two different forms. I guess that sounds weird but my lower stomach is bigger than my upper stomach so I have sort of a line going across my belly button that seperates the two. Its always been that way, so I was wondering what excersizes can I do to flatten my entire stomach?

Okay so
Me and my boyfriend are sexually active, but rarely. The times we do have sex we're ALWAYS protected.
The condom has never busted or anything like that... but I have a question.
Is it normal for periods to be 1-2 weeks late every once in awhile? I'm 18 years old... and I don't know I always have scares like this, I guess I'm just paranoid... but I've been getting the faint stomach pains that always come before my period.. but it's just not coming and i don't understand why. We probably had sex either right after my last period came or right before... I can't exactly remember, but either why it was about a month and a week or something ago.
So is this normal?
Please give me all the advice you can.

safe to bring?

At the end of august i'm flying from New York to Las Vegas, the flight is a good 6 hours.
I have this scrunching mousse from sunsilk that I want to bring, but I'm not sure if its safe.
It comes in a can, like an aerosol can, and it says "contents under pressure" and to not store it at temperatures above 120 degrees [F]
I know for sure it's not allowed in carry-ons, but if i put it in my checked luggage would it be fine?

Has anyone ever felt such a strong physical pain left mentally by someone else? My ex boyfriend used to be everything, my superhero. He moved out to Rhode Island for me but it completely changed him. Our whole year of amazing love has turned into me being dirt in his eyes. We've had problems just like everyone else but we were always there for eachother. When he came here he started to fall into other girls and once he got a job and his own place to live it was like he was completely done with me.
