Country Song

Question Posted Thursday August 7 2008, 6:14 pm

Does anyone know what the song is where they say something about getting in a car and having something new, something blue, and something borrowed. I think it talks about forever. I know a girl sings it and i think it sounds like carrie underwood kinda. But i'm not sure

Its Just a Dream by Carrie Underwood:

It was 2 weeks after the day she turned 18
All dressed in white
going to the church that night
She had his box of letters in the passenger seat
six pence and her shoe
something borrowed something blue
And when the church doors opened up wide
She put her veil down trying to hide the tears
She heard the trumpets from the military band and the flowers fell out of her hand.

Chorus:

Baby why'd you leave me,
whyd you have to go
I was counting on forever now ill never know
I can't even breathe
Its like Im looking from a distence standing in the background
everyones saying hes not coming home now
this can't be happening to me
This is Just a Dream.

Thats the first verse and chorus, if you want to know the rest of the song email me.

Hope I helped :)
